from a long week...

actually, it was only a 4 day work week, but it seemed longer! LOL

Little Miss Sally rarely gets out to play. She was one of my first blythes... I guess you can only have one first, right *wink*. Ok she was my first ebay win, but not my first doll to arrive at my doorstep. She's still a sweet girl with her full styled hair and nice bangs that I have not kept very well, will have to give her some spa treatments sometime soon!

all the stone carved, paired dragons I've seen have had the baby under one foot and ball under the other, don't quite know the history reasons or meanings behind it but... must look it up some day.

Poor Sally has quite the cowlick, she's a neglected girl, one of my very first... well, my 2nd doll Blythe doll. Need to fix up those bangs for you girlfriend! She has lovely hair though and nice colouring.

not sure this was for the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver or for the 2008 Summer Olympics in China. Erected in the heart of Chinatown, downtown Toronto. I'm thinking the latter, since it has Canada and the China symols on it.

had the "head" table spot

where the bride and groom usually sit at a wedding, under the double happiness symbol, the Phoenix, representing the Bride and the Dragon, representing the Groom.
