A View of Famous Tourist Resort "LADAKH" . Every year it attracts thousands of travellers from India as well as foreign tourists, trekking in mountains and a wide variety of animals. Ladakh is considered a paradise for trekkers.

My first trip with my D800 in 8 months - A visit to Jammu where I spent more time enjoying the experience than actually shooting.
The old grey cells which housed my photographic skills were clearly rusty from disuse as seen here.
I ruined a magnificent sunrise by mounting the wrong filter - A singh ray blue and gold - which explains the blue reflection of an orange sky!
Well the image still looks dramatic enough and given that I have hardly had anything other posts, something is better than nothing :P
"National Highway 1D (NH 1D), also known as Srinagar-Leh Highway, is a National Highway entirely within the state of Jammu & Kashmir in North India that connects Srinagar to Leh in Ladakh. It is one of the only two roads that connect Ladakh with the rest of India, the other being Leh-Manali Highway. . .
Even nowadays, heavy snowfall at highest passes blocks traffic, cutting Leh from Ladakh for some six months each year. During springtime, the Border Roads Organisation (BRO) plows snow and repairs damages caused by landslides.[5] Zoji La pass received reportedly some 18 m (59 ft) of snowfall in 2008.[6]"
