As I was driving on the road from the river back up to the top of the canyon at Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park, there was a car stopped on the road. Just in front of it, a mama black bear and two cubs were crossing the road. After they crossed, they walked up the road right next to my van, so I grabbed the camera and took a few shots out the window. I liked the one where she was looking right at me the best.
Common sight in spring, when the bay gets rid of her ice cover. The more rocks undereath, the higher the jam.

It's a 4-day weekend in Japan with rain predicted for the first 3 days. So I'm going through some oldies. These are from a jam session I went to in Tokyo. Not a typical jam session by any means.
whilst making strawberry jam, i just couldn't help myself not to take a photo! the strawberries were so red and shiny. and besides, i had to stand there and stir it for so long anyway!

I was in a public bus, there was just the beginning of a heavy rainfall, all the vehicle become stagnant, a huge traffic jam there in the Dhaka city. There was less passenger in the bus ,so I openup my camera and take the snap, u can clearly see the stagnant lighting outside there, the rain drops are not so much beautiful because of the poor quality glasses usages in the public bus.

This is some of the homemade jams that we made during the winter months from homegrown soft fruits we froze and foraged rose hips and elderflowers. The next batch of jams will be processed this week or next, but we now have a food mill will take the seeds out, so our raspberry jams will be seedless!
