I added this one because of a great sale. She was $28 down from $42 or $44. If she comes up cheaper than I got her I'll snag another to keep NRFB, maybe.
I don't know if this insect belongs to the bee sp. or wasp sp. I also am not sure why its legs are folded with only its mandibles gripping the twig for support.
Is it trying to test the strength of his mandibles? Or is it just trying to get some good rest? Anyone who can help me ID this insect?

Jebel Jais (Jabal Jais) is the highest point of UAE just at the border of UAE & Oman. Even during peak summer weather here in night is pleasant, which makes this place a favorite night camping place among residents. Away from city lights you can have a very good view of stars in night. Morning is awesome. Unfortunately, sunrise is not visible from UAE part of this mountain. The highest peek is in Oman.
