I saw this jaeger harassing a forsters tern today at the Bolsa Chica wetlands in Huntington Beach, California today, September 10. Can't tell if it's a pomarine or a parasitic jaeger.

Excuse the profanity here but HOLY SHIT!! Long-Tailed Jaeger. This guy was reported on ebird a few days ago and I NEVER get out in time to see the rarities. Well I did today, and I even managed to find it!!! So stoked! They are known to come through this area, but maybe 1 or 2 a year. maybe.
