At the UNESCO Heritage site Zollverein at Essen in the German Ruhr.
The site comprises a former coal mine, coal washer and coking ovens.

A pair of Parasitic Jaegers perch on a dune along Clam Lagoon in Adak, AK. Photographed on 06/13/2015.
A shot from a Pelagic trip late last year. The Pomarine Jaeger breeds in the far north of Eurasia and North America. It is a transequatorial migrant, mostly wintering between the Tropic of Cancer and Tropic of Capricorn and along the coastlines of Australia and Argentina.

Jaegermeister and Red Bull cupcakes made for a friends NYE party.
All I can say is they do taste like a Jagerbomb, which is nice if you like that sort of thing!

Jaegers attack gulls and steal their food. This one really pounded on this gull - downing him him and then biting him in the water. Unfortunately, my autofocus couldn't keep up and most of the photos were very blurry. This is the best of the series.

This photo appears to show a warmer neck band, but it's just the lighting, which also looked like a PAJA neckband at times through our scopes.
