Another variation of a previous post but taken from a slightly different angle. Early morning sun shines on the banks of Jackson Lake, and the calmness of the water accentuated the reflections.

The place was crawling with people including one guy who wanted to get behind the falls and just sit in there. I think he waited until I got done with this one.
I took this panorama from the Jackson Lake Overlook close to the top of Signal Mountain at Grand Teton National Park. Even though at first glance it might look like a day photo, it is actually taken at night but the mountains and the lake below were being illuminated by the moon that had just risen behind me.
An easy trail leads to the top of the falls, but to get to the bottom is another thing entirely!

Looking down Jackson Street at the SF-Oakland Bay Bridge, the colors of Chinatown on full display. I've spent many a day roaming the streets in the City, and never tire of the endless urban landscapes that present themselves to my lens. It's like shooting ducks in a barrel.

Just looking through some older photos this morning (something I really have no time for at the moment), and ran across this shot of sunset at Jackson Lake in the Grand Tetons. I remember this place very fondly, and even though the Tetons didn't exactly cooperate during most of our visit, this night they did.

With a perfectly forecasted day of clouds and cool weather on Saturday I couldn't resist getting out and doing some waterfalling. I'd been wanting to revisit McCammon Falls in Jackson County, Kentucky in good conditions for some time. It had been 4 years since I had spent some quality time with this waterfall, which also happened to be my first visit. Although I had been here two more times after that both those visits were of the extreme, once with no water and the other there was way too much water. On this latest visit I couldn't have asked for better flow. See that tree on the left? I hate that tree. In the case of this shot I thought it fit the composition well, but to get straight on shots of the falls showing both tiers is quite the challenge since the dead limbs protrude across the view of the waterfall. I've been threatening to bring an extendable saw and trimming the limbs off for some time now but on this latest trip I wasn't in the mood to fight a 6 ft tall pole with a sharp blade on the end in the vehicle all day long. Some day though, I'm going to clean that view up.

Queenpost through truss bridge over King's Creek on Kings Creek Rd., rebuilt in 2003, orignal date unknown, It spans 46' and was posted to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979
I actually dont have any of he Monster high Boys, I once had Deuce but he was too sexy to stay (After I gave him a beautiful New hairdo)
So I was excited to actually LOVE this MH Boy! And I think Kohl was even more Excited then me, he very much Missed the Piggybacks he would get from Deuce :P
