Jethro is in full glory this time of year. All feathered with long curved white tail feathers. Mighty fancy is this Barred Rock Rooster.
This face is the product of thousands of years of evolution and domestication. "Got something for me?" And we can't resist... In exchange we get a friend, companion, and guardian.
Trying to get some sleep after a night out and some irritating person keeps pointing a camera at me.

A well regarded cafe in Tucson, AZ at 8585 E. Broadway. They had people lined out the door when we stopped by so we went elsewhere. Probably our loss.
This little fellow is one of my very adorable cousins, and is not yet two. A favourite pastime of his is to flop himself down on the couch over and over again. Here he was staring at me intently as he waited for his dinner.
This is a portrait of a 74 Chevy Pickup and Jethro a retired goat from a rodeo clown. A difficult shot to compose, I wanted good lighting on the goat with out having remote flashes hidden in cab. This would have looked too unnatural and I did not want to resort to an HDR.
I decided to wait a few days and catch the last light of the day when it was partially cloudy. The goat is actually an animatronic goat on loan from a friend at ILM. The real goat was uncoopertive and with so many photo purists these days I did not want to resort to a photoshop hack.

Description
The fresco shows several episodes of Moses' youth, taken from Exodus. It parallels the fresco on the opposite wall, also by Botticelli, which depicts the Temptations of Jesus. The frieze has the inscription TEMPTATIO MOISI LEGIS SCRIPTAE LATORIS.
On the right is Moses killing the Egyptian who had harassed a Hebrew, and fleeing to the desert (a parallel with the episode of Jesus defeating the Devil). In the next episode Moses fights the shepherds who were preventing Jethro's daughters (including his future wife, Zipporah) to water their cattle at the pit, and then takes the water for them. In the third scene, in the upper left corner, Moses removes his shoes and then receives from God the task to return to Egypt and free his people. Finally, in the lower left corner, he drives the Jews to the Promised Land.
Moses is always distinguishable in the scenes by his yellow dress and the green cloak.

Jethro Tull est un groupe de rock britannique progressif formé à Blackpool dans la seconde partie des années 1960. Leur musique est marquée par le style vocal très particulier du leader Ian Anderson , son travail unique de flûtiste, et par des constructions de chansons inhabituelles et souvent complexes. Leur musique incorpore des éléments de musique classique et celtique, blues (surtout à leurs débuts) ainsi que des phases art rock alternatif du rock. Malgré ceci, il est difficile de désigner des artistes spécifiques ayant directement influencé ou étant directement influencés par Jethro Tull, dont l'œuvre reste à part dans le monde du rock.
Jethro Tull is a progressive British rock band formed in Blackpool in the second half of the 1960s.
