For Macro Monday January 20, 2020 theme "Ceramics"
Handbuilt face on our pottery garlic jar. (about 2.5" on 3" jar.)
Also for 52 weeks....week 3
Had fun getting these speed lines and blur.
It's just a small jar along my work-surface. All quite small as the jar is only 2 inches high.
the photograph is basically 'straight out of the camera' with a single exposure. A bit of post-processing but nothing particularly significant.

Het zandpad ten oosten van Oisterwijk werd dit jaar meerdere keren bezocht vooral omdat het hier heerlijk corona-rustig was.
Helaas kan deze stek echter uit de stekkenlijst want inmiddels hebben de hekkenterroristen van Heras de stek onbruikbaar gemaakt met een ca. 2 meter hoog groen hek. Gelukkig was dit op de zonnige morgen van 21 maart 2020 nog niet het geval, toen de schone 193307 hier de eenzame fotograaf passeerde met een via Venlo omgeleide unit-cargotrein die hier passeert ter hoogte van Oisterwijk.
In the basement of an abandoned motel, I found this crude set of shelves with these jars. Someone was very into canning (jarring) but I am not sure I would trust any of these today. The various colors, shapes, and amounts of decay (along with that bottle of bleach) give an eerie feeling to this scene from a dark, abandoned basement.

Na veel getouwtrek komt er na jaren eindelijk beweging in de verkoop van de NS DM'90 diesel treinstellen. Op een mistige zaterdag zien we op het enkelsporige deel tussen Olst en Deventer RFO 1829 met dit DM90 transport. Achter de loc zien we de stellen 3429, 3431, 3435 en 3445, onderweg van de Houtrakpolder naar het Poolse Zagóz, als trein 41339
I am so damn stoked on this set. Everything about it went awesome. It just feels great when things you work for really pay off.
Paying homege to –tradewinds•>, South Congress, Austin, TX
I had the pleasure of doing a Flickrwalk with –tradewinds•> this past Sunday. We had a great time taking in the sites of SOCO (South Congress) area of South Austin.
I wanted to post a –tradewinds•>-esque image, although my attempt does not match the "bokeh master" himself. I'll post some more images from this SOCO Flickrwalk shortly. In the mean time, I wanted to change it up a bit with photographs that are different from my recent HDR night shots. As you will see soon enough, South Congress also has great night scenes and is a another fun part of Austin.
