There's nothing like watching those few moments when the sun kisses those peaks......
It was a cool brisk morning and the winds had just subsided.
As daylight came, the blue hour treated us to such colorful pastels in the skies above the Grand Tetons. The cloud formation above was somewhat surreal.
Probably surrounded by 30 other photographers on that chilly morning .... but it was certainly a rewarding & fun outing.
Thanks for taking a look
Your feedback is always so much appreciated......
Happy Friday & have a great weekend.

Jackson Bay is the furthest south you can drive on the Western Coast roads. It's is a working fishing village that is now considered a World Heritage Area.

I've always thought the US Currency needed some colour, so I gave Mr. Jackson some. I painted this in Photoshop Elements 2022. Thanks to You All For The Wonderful Comments and Encouragement!

On the eastern, less fashionable, side of the house.

Wikipedia
This is at the entrance of one of the parks in Jackson. The park is huge, however I wasn't able to go deep into it because of the freezing temperature. I will probably go back when the weather permits.

From our room in the Four Season's we were treated each morning to this view of the sunrise over Jackson Hole Wyoming. I could get accustomed to this.

When your walking on a trail and you turn around because something is coming up behind you quick and you see Jackson it can be quite unnerving!
If you look extreme right the hint of red is his owner that's how I found out his name. Apparently Jackson is unable to read and had no-one to assist him. Otherwise he would have known that a leash is required when visiting the Edward H. McCabe Nature Preserve.
An area of Richmond, Virginia that I venture into a half dozen times a year or so, but always for the 2nd Street Festival. On the first weekend of October about 6 or 8 city blocks are closed and this place comes alive. If you want to hear Jazz, Blues, Gospel or Rap music it is all here on 3 separate nonstop stages. Arts, crafts and cultural items are for sale and OMG the food. If you are the kind of person who can't walk by a mess of collard greens, then you are going to be in heaven. Ethiopian, Jamaican and Carribean foods are represented but the focus is on Southern Soul Food. The kind your Mamma wishes she could cook! So much fun, that some years I have attended both Saturday and Sunday.
With the work finished on the West Bend sub, Mr. G. Berkholz finishes up his paperwork while I snap a quick shot of our train at Jackson, before heading back toward DBR Jct., North Milwaukee and eventually Ackerville for the tie up.

Iconic view of St Louis Cathedral and Jackson Square (with a statue of Andrew Jackson, who was the seventh president of the United States) in the foreground.
A late comment: did anyone notice that there's not a thousand tourists in this picture? But it was at the height of Mardi Gras. I caught it at a good moment.

Another variation of a previous post but taken from a slightly different angle. Early morning sun shines on the banks of Jackson Lake, and the calmness of the water accentuated the reflections.
