My 4th attempt to get the Erie heritage unit leading yielded the same old result, this time with the 1068 nose coupled to the cars of H13 in Ithaca, NY on 1/25/2013. This has become an expensive endeavor since I've used up 3 tanks of gas and still don't have any photo's of 1068 leading. I gave up hope on this day, as it appeared that 1068 would be trailing on a trip to Sayre, only to find out later that it was uncoupled from the train and then led the cut of cars in the distance out of Ithaca.

This trip convinced me to go shopping for rain gear for my equipment. I can't count the number of shots I missed because I didn't have it.

At the Six Mile Creek Winery. I tried a glass of the Ithaca Red Wine. It was very mellow. Stu shared it with me.
