A drawing by Brook-Greaves "showing the construction of St Paul's Cathedral by isometric projection". Drawn in 1928, surprisingly. Massive. Absolutely massive. At the entrance to the Architecture gallery in the V&A Museum, London.

I was recently inspired while reading Escher on Escher, which is the man himself describing some of his inspirations and loves, and his love for regular division of the plane originated from Moorish tiling. I decided to explore a classic Moorish tile which was obviously based on an isometric grid. I reconstructed the tile and created several layers with different stroke amounts.
The end result of this pattern will be as a screenprint to use and reuse on my window paintings.

Starting to compile the letters which will become my shape typeface. Quite like some of the outcomes that people created with the same geometric pieces.
Isometric abs with a bit more wieght(25 lb per side plus bar weight). When done right you can really get a great abdominal workout without doing a single crunch or sit up. When it gets to easy up the weight!
