Another #IsolationPeregrination capture, another gasometer. This very fine example of cast iron construction can still be found in the charming hamlet known as Great Yarmouth hidden away in the sandy water of East Anglia. It is an amazing construction, but seriously in need of some care and attention. To find it, go to Yarmouth and look up. It will be there, hopefully, still.
May Peace Prevail. And good bicycles too. From an earlier #IsolationPeregrination back in the summer of 2020. It's a Moulton TSR2, since you ask. With two speed Sturmey Archer S2C hub gear with coaster brake and belt drive. Chapelfield Gardens, Norwich.
I never tire of this Norwich river view of St Georges Bridge seen from the riverside path from Duke Street. Spotted on today's #IsolationPeregrination on two wheels.

Municipal Socialism at its best. Norwich City Council built large numbers of well designed council homes. These, I am told, were designed by the renowned architect George Skipper. They are part of the large Mile Cross estate. For the last thirty years or more Tories in various parties have blocked the building of good quality council housing one way or another, to promote a false market of demand which sees the younger half of our adult population largely unable ever to have a decent home of their own at a reasonable cost. Time to find the best architects and start again. Snapped on #IsolationPeregrination today.
Built for failed mail deliverers Whistl this is my favourite sturdy three speeder, with two solid carriers and hub brakes and dynamo lighting. A pause on an #IsolationPeregrination during the previous lockdown.
