I decided to make some figures reflecting current events happening in the world.

The ISIS has a AKM (I slanted the barrel but I am not sure how to rib the cover) since that is one of the most common AK rifles in the world, though since they have raided so many Iraqi bases I am sure they have lots of other rifles like the M4A1.
The Kurd has a AKMS (again, no ribbed cover yet, also it's a overmolded BA AK with a BW AK stock) since they seem to use mostly AK-type rifles with folding stocks like the Polish Tantal.
Now that winter is on its way, I'm going to be going out walking less & less (plus Derby are at home every other week, and though it pains me greatly I still have to go and watch!!).
Therefore, I suspect there's going to be a lot more cat photos, macros and pictures of my family's anatomy :-) Enjoy (or not, as the case may be) :-)
This is Isis sitting (as she always is) on my bed. I'm pretty happy with the dof on this.

The New Isis Theatre is a great old theatre, opened as the Isis Theatre in the 1930’s. Located in the Historic Stockyards district in Fort Worth, it closed in 1988 and is for sale.

Inspired by the Egyptian goddess of nature, the Isis sculpture in Hyde Park was created by Simon Gudgeon. There are 1,000 donor plaques arranged around the base in the Fibonacci curves, a pattern frequently observed in nature.

Powers and abilities

Today was supposed to be film shoot but it looks like my Chinon CE-5 has decided to give up on me in 2023. The film advance lever jammed and mirror locked up. I suspected the batteries hadn't enough power left to activated the Seiko electronic shutter but alas when I got home and replaced them it is still locked up.
Luckily I took my Ricoh GR3, so at least I've something to show for my walk around Hulls Bankside area.
The Cargill operation in Hull is closing down and as the mill is grade two listed, hopefully will not be demolished.
