Sayyidah Zaynab Mosque is a mosque located in the city of Sayyidah Zaynab, in the southern suburbs of Damascus, Syria. According to Twelver Shia Muslim tradition, the mosque contains the grave of Zaynab, the daughter of ‘Alī and Fātimah and granddaughter of Muhammad. Sunni Muslim and Ismaili Shia tradition place Zaynab's tomb in the mosque of the same name in Cairo, Egypt. The tomb became a center of Twelver religious studies in Syria and a destination of mass pilgrimage by Twelver Shia Muslims from across the Muslim world (Wikipedia).

The Bahia Palace, set in extensive gardens, was built in the late 19th century by the Grand Vizier of Marrakesh, Si Ahmed ben Musa (Bou-Ahmed). Bou Ahmed resided here with his four wives, 24 concubines and many children. With a name meaning "brilliance", it was intended to be the greatest palace of its time, designed to capture the essence of Islamic and Moroccan architectural styles. Bou-Ahmed paid special attention to the privacy of the palace in its construction and employed architectural features such as multiple doors which prevented passers-by from seeing into the interior. The palace took seven years to build, with hundreds of craftsmen from Fes working on its wood, carved stucco and zellij. The palace is set in a two-acre (8,000 m²) garden with rooms opening onto courtyards. The palace acquired a reputation as one of the finest in Morocco and was the envy of other wealthy citizens. Upon the death of Bou-Ahmed in 1900, the palace was raided by Sultan Abd al-Aziz.

In the name of Allah, the most Merciful, the most Kind

A blessed month is casting its shadow upon us

A night of this month is better than a thousand months

Bear with patience for the sake of Ar-Rahman

It's a continuous training to strengthen our Imaan.

Glory be to Allah who sent Ramadan as a mercy to mankind

Its a purification of our soul, our heart, and our mind

With the most sincere devotion and love we fast

To be cleansed and free from sins of the past

Glorified is He, who choseth this holy month,

To test our sabr and fill our hearts with warmth

Of his Divine Light, His blessings shall glow,

The Seer of the unseen, all He does know

Ya Allah! For thee, let my breath be more pleasant than musk

Ya Allah! For thee, let me be thankful when day turns to dusk

My thoughts and heart are purified, my eyes truly see'

This blessed month, the month of spiritual rhapsody!

Ya Allah! For thee, my life I shall live!

Ya Allah! For thee, my soul I shall give!

In the name of Allah, the most Merciful, the most Kind,

Praise be to Allah, who sent Ramadan as a gift to mankind

Ya Ramadan!, by Noor Syed..

Muhammad Ali Pasha(4 March 1769 – 2 August 1849) was born in the Sanjak of Kavala (modern-day Kavala)was the Ottoman Albanian[3] governor and de facto ruler of Egypt from 1805 to 1848, considered the founder of modern Egypt. At the height of his rule, he controlled Egypt, Sudan, Hejaz, Najd, the Levant, Cyprus and parts of Greece.

He was a military commander in an Albanian Ottoman force sent to recover Egypt from a French occupation under Napoleon. Following Napoleon's withdrawal, Muhammad Ali rose to power through a series of political maneuvers, and in 1805 he was named Wāli (governor) of Egypt and gained the rank of Pasha. His attempt at suppressing the Greek rebellion failed decisively, however, following an intervention by the European powers at Navarino.

His plight ?

Sunni Shia Alawites. the list goes on

because of baseless questionable historical beliefs

of questionable events that might or might not occured over a thousand years ago.

Factions segregate, fulminate hatred towards each other and bombs kill those who are named HERETICS simply because they dont share similar beliefs.

When one's beliefs kill other men then MAN has reached his lowest form of humanity and can no longer IMHO justify lethal attacks in the name of RELIGION.

This man made schism of beliefs is no longer peaceful tolerance

it is hatred and leads to chaos that we now see in the middle east, south Asia,

and i predict one day in the USA.

“The photo was taken in one of the rooms of the Gallery of Modern Art in Milan, Via Palestro. The statue in the foreground, inspired by the work of Casanova, is the Venus of Pompeo Marchesi… The image of the woman in a burqa instead is the work of an anonymous photographer… The two women (like their cultures), they look but do not speak. I wonder if one day (finally and without violence) they really will be able to talk to each other sharing what they can convey deeper?”

My University (taken with Cell)

#436 EXPLORE best position yet

I wish that someone could restores this and the other priceless relics of Islam in Madinah.

Most of the stone walls around Ronda directly owe their construction to the Islamic era, a period that spanned close to 800 years from 712 until 1485.

Also know as Sultan Ahmet Mosque, the Blue Mosque has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1985, and it is one of the city's most popular tourist attractions. Built between 1609 and 1616 under the reign of Ahmed I, the mosque is the perfect fusion of centuries of Ottoman-mosque and Byzantine-church construction and is the final grand mosque of the Ottoman Empire's classical phase.

Eid ul Fitr often abbreviated to Eid, is a Muslim holiday that marks the end of Ramadan, the Islamic holy month of fasting. Eid is an Arabic word meaning festivity, while Fiṭr means to break the fast and so the holiday symbolizes the breaking of the fasting period. It is celebrated starting on the first day of the Islamic month of Shawwal.

Eid ul Fitr is a three day celebration and is sometimes also known as the Smaller Eid as compared to the Eid ul-Adha that lasts four days and is called the Greater Eid

Muslims are commanded by the Qur'an to complete their fast on the last day of Ramadan and then recite the Takbir all throughout the period of Eid.

Look-up shot at MIA, Museum of Islamic Art, Doha

The ceiling and the interior design of MIA itself is an artwork.

The light falling from the centre of the dome looks like a sun, surrounded by other stars and galaxies. The curved decoration at the bottom of the photo reminds me of the movement of the night sky.

I made light and shadow a bit clearer so that the exterior design looks more three-dimensional and deleted some noises such as the iron bars from the image with the help of Photoshop.

When I took this picture in 2014, I preferred to post the photos as they were shot at the sites. Lately, I can't resist adding the minimum adjustment with the effective use of Photoshop.

Thank you very much for taking your precious time to view my photography!
