« J’ai toujours eu une profonde admiration pour l’appareil photo en tant qu’outil, moitié Stradivarius, moitié scalpel. »

So got angry at Adobe for all their strange idea of making me pay more. So here is some of my pictures edited through On1 and Aurora HDR. My personal calculation for the price of 7months of Adobe CC, I can buy On1, if I am not happy I can then go back at Adobe.
When the RCP visited St. John, NB they had a pretty wild power consist. The '70 was rather unfortunate but it was there and at least it was painted to match. I managed to get the eastbound trip with that unit leading the F's crossing Onawa Trestle. The weather for both trips was great. The westbound trip was a cocker, with great light through its entirety. I recall we ran out of light around East Outlet on the Moosehead after starting the day at Lambert Lake. The 95 overhead shot is decent, but the "obstacles" involved with shooting here are usually pretty humorous. So here is an F unit Friday submission with the 1401 leading he westbound trek about to duck under the interstate and what is likely one of the largest crowds to have gathered here, ever.
First visit since a while, I had to come to NB for work. Was able to get to Saint-Rest beach on low tide sunrise, quiet happy about the scenary I was able to observe.
New Brunswick Southern Ry train number 121 enroute from Saint John, NB to McAdam, NB breaks the afternoon silence passing through the town of Tracy, NB with SD40-2 8145 leading SD70M-2's 6407-6409 trailing. Here, train 121 with paper, lumber and intermodal traffic hugs the North Oromocto River before disappearing into the deep woods. The days are numbered for the NBSR 8145 with the impending arrival of the next batch of "new" SD70's more than likely it will join the other stored older EMD's in the St. John deadline. A TRE commuter train heads west bound for Fort Worth on a sweltering summer afternoon. In the background, the small BNSF yard at Irving is visible.
The kind of place that almost is extinct. Mrs. Jiffy bought me a card there once that they charged her 59 cents for. The card had probably sat there for years and they still charged the price printed on the back
