With the red City Sightseeing bus parked outside Áras an Uachtaráin in Phoenix Park, the tourists are all eyes, peering curiously at the President’s home, Ireland’s understated version of the White House. Unlike its American cousin, this residence rarely makes headlines, and the most thrilling event might be the President’s dogs making a rare appearance—definitely no tweeting scandals to report!
Phoenix Park, with its roots in the 1660s as a royal hunting ground for the Duke of Ormonde, has long been a place of calm, where deer still wander and history whispers through its ancient trees, offering a peaceful contrast to any political drama!

Vigorous, bushy, double cupped and neatly formed rose. Bright scarlet-red, little scent with glossy dark green leaves, flowering throughout summer.
Other name Evelyn Fison, One of the older bright red Floribundas. The trusses are large and well spaced, and it is extremely prolific. The Evelyn Fison is hard to fault as a bedding rose, one of my favourites. Vivid scarlet and slightly scented.
