First I would like to thank every single one of you who happened to click, fave, comment, reblog, repost any of my pix. I can’t believe 2016 is over (I know I always say that but seriously, 2016 needed to take a seat). This year was literally a rollercoaster of events. However, it did have a lot of interesting doll moments. Here’s hoping 2017 will be just as glam.
Anyways, here we go:
1. Most Views: I went back home got a brand new face
Okay, so I haven’t been as active on Flickr as much this year as I’ve been on instagram BUT when it’s convention season, this place is where Ipost my spam and my photo stories. The Supermodel convention was a huge highlight for me. The fashion the friends, the dolls. Loved everything and this group of hennies right here!! Versace 90s supermodel realness starring our fave characters from Fashion Royalty.
2. Most Faves: #Mood
Technically most faves also go to the girls of FR above but second place (which I’m showcasing here) goes to Barbie! This year marked the first year in forever when I actually started collecting Barbie again. Like legit, buying every Fashionistas released. They’re so cute! And with the new bodies and styling, they’ve really been another highlight in my dolly year (and for the price of like twelve of them they equal to one FR so they’re like candy to me).
3. Most Comments: The List of Death: Reckless Edition
LOL I’m not that chatty at all but really if there’s a big discussion involved it’s when new FR/Nu Face dolls are out to preorder. And this collection was literally one of the best collections/looks/moments in the history of my collecting years. Loved every look!! Can’t wait for them to arrive this spring!!
4. Personal Fave of the Year: Into You
I had to include MH in this set. This year introduced the reboot of the collection/series and literally one of my faves from the collection is Ari Hauntington. Despite the changes in both EAH and MH, I still love the dolls that’s been released so far. Not sure what’s to come in the new year but I’m sure there will be more scary cute moments.
I just really want to thank all of you again for following me for the last seven-eight years. And although I’m not as active here as much as my instagram, I’ll be posting my FRs and other doll moments here as more of a storage moment and what have you. Here’s hoping 2017 will be a bright one for all of us.

Have been away from Flickr for a bit Iposting-wise, at least; I’ve been lurking and peeking at everyone’s photostreams here and there.) End of the year was incredibly busy this year, between work, volunteer activities, and home, and while I’ve been shooting as I’ve had time, haven’t had any time to do anything with the shots.
I’m wrapping up a week(ish) of vacation, and sat down with the kids tonight to watch “Tangled”, so I made up a batch of kettle corn to munch on while watching.
Nikon D7000 w/Nikkor Micro 105mm, 1.5s @ ƒ/13, ISO100. Basic color finishing in Aperture.
Ingredients
2 1/2 tbl. peanut oil
1/3 c. popcorn kernels
1/3 c. sugar
heavy 1/2 tsp. kosher salt
Directions
Put the oil and 3-4 kernels of popcorn into a large pot with a tight-fitting lid, cover the pot, and put over medium-high heat.
When one of the kernels in the pot pops, add the remaining ingredients, and stir quickly to combine. Cover and return to heat.
When the popcorn starts popping, hold down the lid and shake/swirl the pan continually until popping slows down. Remove from heat, and immediately pour the popcorn out onto a sheet pan. Cool for a few minutes before serving, picking out any burnt pieces or unpeopled kernels (there’s always a few of each.)
