Ordered a bunch of 3M N95 Aura masks. The blue-strap 9205+ mask is a more conventional particulate filter for non-oil based particles, while the red-strap 1870+ is a medical-grade filter with better fluid resistance and protection from bacteria and viruses. The 9205+ should be suitable for day-to-day use since it's an N95 with electrostatic filtering that is able to catch at least 95% of pathogen-size particles, but in higher risk settings the 1870+ provides additional shielding -- especially where you may get splashed with bodily fluids.
