Stumbled across a new Instagram filter that overlaid an artist’s conception of a fictional headset used to access the internet-like ‘matrix’ described in William Gibson’s novel “Neuromancer.” I took a quick selfie, but decided it needed a bit of help to capture what I thought the gritty dystopia described by Gibson might look like. Lots of processing and a trip through the Snapseed app later, I created this.
