I was pleased by the effect of blowing up to an extreme a hap-hazard detail of the preceding capture.
Problem: Design a mailable invitation using 2 colors for a hypothetical exhibition called "Typography as Art."
Solution: Brackets and braces are usually used to frame text, but in this piece I opted to use them as frames to frame words as art. The use of different fonts show show that when you look at type in different ways there is more than meets the eye.

Working on some wedding invitations for a family friend. I used to do all my cuts with a single X-Acto knife, but I have to do 150 invites. I broke down and got an AWESOME papercutter last month. It's HUGE and I LOVE it! It's a true classic. I remember using these in school. It really makes manual labor a little more enjoyable :)
