Driving thru beautiful countryside of Maharashtra....on a rainy day...scenes inverted on water droplets on our window...each drop shows a different scene...
"What is that, Maddison?" sighed Aunty Kris. It was a long-suffering sigh.
"This?" said Maddison coyly. "Oh, this? Its just a Satanic cross I found."
"It's upside down."
"Oh, yeah, I know."
Aunty Kris sighed again. "And why are you grinning like a fool?"
"Well, I inverted it, see... and it was already inverted... so, like, it's an inverted inverted cross!"
"Oh dear. All the money spent on your education has clearly gone to waste..."
"but you don't pay anything for my education," said Maddison, mystified.

Even under the cloudy skies Blue hour is setting in, with all the excitement done for the day, locals, families, and railfans for the most part have all gone home and off to other adventures with only a few people staying behind to watch the Santa Train depart. The inbound crew is in the process of setting out the two borrowed passenger cars before the outbound crew comes on duty. Shortly the train will depart with the fresh crew and we will be off to Poplar for one more shot of the day... or night depending on how you look at it.
Early morning capture at a salt marsh (Parker River National Wildlife Sanctuary, Plum Island Massachusetts). I’ve inverted the photo - the sky is a reflection off the water. The reflected grass is above the real grass.

White Pocket does not need snow to be the white princess it is, but a little bit of ice and snow does give it a boost. If you are wondering about the title, the frozen foam on the ice cold water looks like snowflakes, falling from below.
