We visited the lovely little town named Inveraray with a nice looking castle but it was as expected closed for the winter. Walking back we paused and took this image of the bridge carrying the Old Military Road (A83) over the River Aray. It was cold and wet but the warmth of the autumn colours made the image.

Inveraray Castle is a country house near Inveraray in the county of Argyll, in western Scotland, on the shore of Loch Fyne, Scotland’s longest sea loch. It is one of the earliest examples of Gothic Revival architecture.

For some surely known as one of the sets of "Downton Abbey". A really wonderful place with beautiful gardens.
