"Here is a lucky little boy who narrowly escaped tragedy. He was rescued from a home after the husband in a drunken fit kicked the kitten against a wall and badly injured him. He was rushed by a TCR volunteer to the vet where he stayed under observation for many days. Luckily nothing was broken and he rebounded from his terrible start at life to become a totally sweet, loving kitten. He is so happy to be held and loves to play. He purrs instantly and seeks out human attention. Help him find a home."

This is Antónia, my beautiful WW, I love her bangs.
I made this dress and I think she´s gorgeous with it.
She's also known as The Cookie Monster and, most commonly, Floof. :)
Cookie came from the rescue centre I used to volunteer at. She's nearly 8 years old and had previously lived with a lady who, very sadly, had to give her up due to ill health. She's settling in really well, although she's still very nervous around strangers. I took this photo on only her second day outdoors. She was lying on the roof of a low shed, behind a hedge and under some trees. It was very hot that day.
Somehow I think I might be posting the odd photo of her from time to time. By the way, she has a bit of cobweb on a whisker above her head, in case you're wondering. :)

NOT her permanent wig. I haaate this wig but it has to do for now, her alpaca fibre is being so slow in the mail. ; n ;
I'm shocked at how big her head is o.o she's going to need her own SD16 body at some point. She fits on the nYID body even.. e__e

The outside facade of the Mr. Toads Wild Ride show building. A classic "dark ride" featured in Fantasyland at Disneyland Park, California.
The outside brick work in this land lends itself to some interesting designs just waiting to be captured. I have photographed this building so many times before, but on this particular time as I was entering the doors I looked up and caught this incurable adventurer with a nice hazy blue sky giving him some wonderful contrast to his pose.
This is one of the few rides that was operational when the park opened in 1955. While it was updated 1983, the premise remains the same.
Where else can you go to Hell in a Disney park and still have a good time?

Yup, I did it. I named a doll Plushie. When I saw her face in person, I knew the name was meant to be-- she's just so CUTE.
I only recently started looking at Ddung dollies, and when I did, I knew I wanted a pink haired one. After a little searching, I found that the White Rabbit Ddung was just what I was looking for! She had pink hair and she was the bigger version of a Ddung (about 7" and a head as big as a Pullip's head). The day I found her, Shawn said he would buy her for me as a birthday/xmas pressie. ^___________^
I love a lot of things about Plushie, but I think the feature that really strikes me the most is her pink hair. Not only is it incredibly long (past her feet!), but it's so, so, so soft. In fact, it's better quality than Blythe saran hair-- so gorgeous.
Paulina is a poodle with a puppet assistant named Doodle. She's a quiet girl with somewhat of an emotionless demeanor, making her appear unfriendly to those she meets. Despite this, she wishes to create bonds with others and is discouraged by how people seem to perceive her.

Meet Buddy, or Budster as I call her. She's a 4 year old Jack Russell Terrier who we rescued from the pound when she was only a year and half old - hence the original name! This was taken during this evening during our daily walk and as I type this, she is fast asleep on her favourite spot....my lap. Yes I really am a sap!

Malachite, better known to her friends as Malice (though it's a misnomer) just got finished.
I removed her human ears, ordered her some cat ears from plastic-curves and i finally worked on her this week. She has flaws where I placing her ears (cat ears are bigger and the post was located in a different place than the werewolf ears I'd dug holes for before).
Her hair is raven black/cm midnight and with sable brown and 24k gold streaks in front and around the hairline.
Malice is the daughter of Anubis and a were-jackal. She died and was mummified and re-animated by her father. She now attends Monster High and writes an advice colum in the school newspaper.
Introducing 'Henry' who was rescued, rehomed and adopted into the Axe household on December 27th 2024.
Henry is a previously abandoned 'rescue cat' pure white kitty who has had a very difficult start to his life with a very long story behind his circumstances.
Henry is now completely safe in his new forever home and he doesn't need to worry about a thing anymore.
Henry was born circa 2022.

Introducing you to one of Bolivia's endemics - the jaw dropping Black-hooded Sunbeam (Agleactis pamela).
You'll have to visit the high Andes of northern Bolivia to find this stunner, where high montane forest ascend into montane scrubland.
This guy was definitely a top sighting, not to mention a lifer, on our hard core birding trip around Bolivia in search of some of its best birds in Feb 2020. A small country but with a lot special things to see.
