The Torre Glòries a.k.a. Agbar is a high-rise building designed by French architect Jean Nouvel. It is located in the Poblenou neighbourhood of Barcelona. According to its architect, the tower is intended to recall the shape of a geyser rising into the air. It was inspired by Montserrat, a mountain near Barcelona. In an interview, Nouvel described the tower as having a phallic character. It measures 144 m.

Rio de Janeiro. The people are resourceful and who can make money as much as they can, and small monkeys, so cute, emboldened and run out into the street. Everyone tries to feed them.

Thank you for all the kind comments over the years, i have made it a new years resolution to try and reply to them more but please be patient with me , i find it quite hard down to a bang on the head and slight brain injury which just effects my dyslexia and train of thought.
You’re never prepared for a new guest… unlooked for and never missed… but you give them a hug anyway. What else can you offer as hospitable distraction? And though they say nothing, you find yourself making pancakes from scratch. They sit pretending life is elsewhere. They sit 20 years later reminding you who you are. Dolls - they’re so common, it is tragic. Dolls work because kids don’t need instructions. I might still be like that kid in the kindergarten. You can ask me about certain topics, if you want to know certain things I can have a completely normal interview with you. But I can’t talk to you for the sake of it, for the sake of socializing. We either talk about something particular or I’d rather actually DO something.
