Malte (47), chairman of the workers council: "I have been with #RIEDEL for 25 years! My primary responsibilities are building and maintaining meaningful lines of communication between employees and management and overall workplace safety. The most interesting part of my job is the wide variety of tasks that await me, from coordinating meetings to arranging worker events. Each day will have some fixed appointments, but I really never know what challenges will come up. The best thing that has happened to me over all these years at RIEDEL is that I met my life partner here!"

Busy day in Manchester Today. First a protest by Unison, then an interview by MusicMagpie on the street.

The first interviewer handed out some labels jokingly, and that is something that Donny just can't take seriously. After everyone put on labels of other names, Donny collected and placed all of them on himself.

Donovan Bailey's name is synonymous with the '96 Olympics in Atlanta. 9 point 84 seconds - at the time, the fastest 100 metres in history. For nearly three years Donovan was the world's fastest man. So, how did he get there ? Well, he took a bit of an unusual route. In 1990, he had finished college and graduated with a business degree. He was doing very well for himself living life as a "corporate guy", until one night he tuned in to watch the Canadian track and field championships and saw people competing that he had beat back in high school. So, he decided to get serious about sprinting. Just six years later, he won two Olympic golds. In the 100 metres and the 4 by 100 metre relay. In '98 Donovan suffered a major setback, rupturing his achilles tendon. Eventually, he started sprinting again but never won another title. So in 2001, he called it quits and got back into the business world. He's also started the 'Donovan Bailey Fund' which offers financial help to amateur athletes in Canada.
