Mr Alex Cicciu dropped me a line and asked me if i'd like to be a part of a project called Wallpaperâ„¢, where he's asking lots and lots of artists to collaborate, each submitting a digital piece which will be stitched together to make a MASSIVE 100ft piece of work when completed!
Obviously I was stoked so hastily said yeah as it sounds a rad idea. not only is that cool enough, Alex did an interview with me and featured on the site, and here it is!

Interviewed by Ming Chen (AMC's "Comic Book Men"), actor Ernie Hudson discussed his 50 year career, including a lucky break when he met the daughter of director Gordon Parks ("Shaft") and soon landed a role in the 1976 movie "Leadbelly"; a biopic of folk singer Huddie Ledbetter.
Since then, he's gone on to the iconic role of ghostbuster 'Winston Zeddemore' in the four "Ghostbusters" movies (1984-2024), as well as roles in "Leviathan" (1989), "The Hand that Rocks the Cradle" (1992), "The Crow" (1994) and many others.
More recently, he appeared as Project Team Leader Herbert "Magic" Williams in the 2022-2024 reboot/sequel of "Quantum Leap"; a promising followup to the original series (1989-1993) that, in Hudson's opinion, didn't get a fair chance due to a lack of faith from NBC (too true). He's consoled by the fact that he won a Saturn Award for Best Supporting Actor for his work in the series.
Currently, the nearly 80-year old actor (who looks amazing) has been cast in "Boston Blue," a cop series spinoff of "Blue Bloods." Hudson comically kept forgetting the name of his new series, and had to repeatedly ask his wife (who was in the audience) for the name of it.
After answering audience questions, Hudson reiterated his philosophy of taking whatever work comes his way, including voice roles in new Star Wars cartoons, and supporting roles in other shows. That philosophy can be more simply described as gratitude.
The Plein Air competition was held during the week of June 6-14 along the Rock River and in Beloit's Downtown. Sponsored by Friends of RIverFront and area businesses. Winners received sponsor prizes of $1,500, $750 and $500.
The art submitted for competition in the Edge of the Rock Plein Air event remains on display and for sale at the Vision Beloit Center in downtown Beloit throughout the month of June and into early July.
