I love those curves, and they look so different in different light at different times of year...

Tree roots along the creek bed acting as a harness for the rock wall

Found this while out hiking. Amazing the growth above ground.

Every moments getting darker

Each more seconds growing dim

Help me find my way back to you

Seems like I can’t get back in

Let me raise my head up higher

Tell me how I got so low

Escaping slowly with the lonely souls

All I need to know is how to let go

Falling back to the life I once dismayed

Heading forward to the familiar lights again

Show me the way out of the dark

Only in your grasp I can sustain

But I'm letting go of everything I know

I’ve dropped down farther under the line

No hope or sorrow no more

Because the good and bad of me has intertwine

Love is weird

I colored you a valentine

Struggled just to stay inside the lines

I lose my mind

I really can't believe

I lost myself again

Looking for something crazy

Beautiful love and now

I'm talking in circles again

Have my love, baby

Are you hungry for wonderful

'Cause I am, wonderful 'cause I am

I wrote a song about your eyes

Ate a slice of cherry pie

I cried all night

On the bench inside the park

I'll kiss you slowly in the dark

I'll never stop

I really can't believe

I lost myself again.

The transient beauty of the coast is intricately intertwined with the captivating patterns that emerge in the sand, crafted by the relentless forces of wind and wave. These natural sculptors shape the shoreline, leaving behind ephemeral masterpieces.

As the tides ebb and flow, they orchestrate a delicate dance with the sand. With each advancing wave, the water gently caresses the shore, carrying particles of sand along its journey. As the wave recedes, it relinquishes its cargo, depositing the grains in a meticulous arrangement. This cyclical process, repeated countless times, creates intricate patterns that stretch along the coastline.

The patterns left behind by the retreating tide mimic the ebb and flow of life itself. Swirling ripples, reminiscent of a miniature desert landscape, emerge as the water recedes, their graceful curves and undulating lines transforming the beach into a living work of art. The patterns are at once orderly and chaotic, with intricate geometrical formations intermingling with whimsical curves and asymmetrical shapes.

The wind, a silent artist in its own right, adds its touch to the sculpting process. As it sweeps across the coast, it whispers secrets to the sand, coaxing it to dance in its invisible embrace. The wind's gentle touch lifts fine particles from the beach, carrying them aloft in an intricate ballet. It sculpts the sand into delicate ripples, resembling the soft undulations of fabric.

The interplay between the wind and the tide results in an ever-changing landscape. The patterns shift and evolve, shaped by the combined forces of these elemental sculptors. Ripples become miniature mountains, rising and falling in a transient topography that mirrors the larger contours of the surrounding coast. Each gust of wind and every advancing or receding wave leaves its mark, etching new patterns and erasing old ones, in an eternal cycle of creation and destruction.

These ephemeral patterns serve as a reminder of the impermanence of existence and the transient nature of beauty, as each passing moment alters the landscape, erasing what once was and creating something new. The sands become a canvas for the symphony of time, a tangible reflection of the ever-changing nature of our lives.

The beauty of these fleeting patterns lies not only in their visual allure but also in the emotions they evoke. They inspire a sense of wonder and awe, inviting us to pause and appreciate the intricate designs that nature creates with such effortless grace. The patterns speak of the interconnectedness of all things, the harmonious interplay between the elements, and the constant flux that defines our existence.

In these patterns of nature, we find a profound lesson: that life, like the shifting sands, is ever-changing, and that true beauty lies not in permanence but in the appreciation of the fleeting moments that grace our journey.

Hi guys, sorry I've been off the air recently. Have done some travelling over the last month and will catch up with you asap.

This temple site (built in the 12th C) is much overgrown by jungle and is said to be in similar condition as when it was found. As you can see, trees and stone seem to become one.

Sif is a distinguished goddess, recognized for her connections with beauty, fertility, and the harvest. As the spouse of the formidable Thor, she embodies elegance, loyalty, and the vital aspects of nature that nurture life. Sif's most iconic characteristic is her long, golden hair, which symbolizes fertility, prosperity, and the thriving of crops. Her hair represents the plentiful harvest that sustains the Norse people, thereby emphasizing her role as a goddess deeply intertwined with agriculture and the earth. The tale of her golden locks, sheared off by Loki and then restored by the dwarves, underscores the importance of her beauty and the restorative power of nature. Even though Sif's individual narratives might not be as well-documented as some others, her role as Thor's wife and her place in the pantheon of gods highlights her unmistakable significance within Norse mythology.

This is an aspen tree in our neighborhood.

It has grown up and around a light pole.

When the tree has leaves, the pole is almost totally obscured.

This photo is from the spring so only its branches and buds are showing. For a night view see flic.kr/p/FswhwA.

Initially I had a teeny doubt, if this was a bland theme! but I was wrong....because, in the 20 minutes I spent photographing, I literally walked into about 5 different mesh subjects in the backyard! I am happy with the one I ended up sharing in MM. please see my other takes on the theme and share any feedback. MM has been an invigorator!...to say the least.

HMM!
