Almost 1000 personnel have deployed to RAF St. Mawgan, Cornwall, United Kingdom, on Exercise ARRCADE FUSION 13, Nov. 17-29, 2014.

 

The exercise is designed to ensure Headquarters Allied Rapid Reaction Corps (HQ ARRC) continues to remain ready for any potential short-notice call-up it may receive as part of the NATO Response Force (NRF).

 

Participating in this exercise will be units and troops from ARRC Partner Nations Denmark, Canada, Italy, the United States and Portugal, as well as personnel from Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Australia, and New Zealand.

A Medway Italia intermodal train, led by a leased Akiem BR186 TRAXX MS2e locomotive, heads west through Monterosso al Mare, Italy. The BR186, from Bombardier's TRAXX MS2e platform, is designed for interoperability across European rail networks. Medway Italia, part of the MSC Group, operates freight services connecting major Italian ports with key logistics hubs. This train is likely en route to Genova.
