Maj. Gen. Salim Mustafa Kijuu, land force commander of the Tanzanian People's Defense Force, and Brig. Command Sponsored Visits bring together senior land force commanders from nations around the world to discuss mutual security concerns and to increase interoperability. Workshop on Voice and Video Services Interoperability Over Fixed-Mobile Hybrid Environments, Including IMT-Advanced (LTE)
VHF, UHF and microwave antennas for public safety voice communications and mobile data terminals (MDT).
Radio Center houses transmitters and repeaters for the City of Rochester and Monroe County, NY Police, Fire, EMS and other public safety agencies. It is located on Cobbs Hill (640 ft above sea level).
City Police, County Sheriff and town PDs are using about 30 P25 digital UHF channels.
City and County Fire using VHF, County EMS is VHF.
No 9-1-1 dispatching is done from this location, it is a primary transmitter site and radio installation/repair shop only.
NY State Troopers, NY Dept of Environmental Conservation (law enforcement division), medical examiners, probation and state university police have access to this system for interoperability.

U.S Army Sgt. 1st Class Micki Bryant of the Louisiana National Guard Alpha Co. 199 Brigade Support Battalion out of Colfax, La., is the non-commissioned officer (NCO) in charge of the “Mayor Cell,” or a support element, at Adazi Military Training Area near Latvia, during Saber Strike 2014. The Mayor Cell is where all personnel and supply information is accumulated and filed in reports. The Mayor Cell acts as a liaison between U.S. and multinational troops to disseminate information, as well as ensuring all supply issues are taken care of for U.S. troops. The primary purpose of the exercise, and specifically the Mayor Cell’s role, is to build rapport and understanding with the other countries to advance working relationships in the future.
Saber Strike 2014 is a joint, multinational military exercise scheduled from June 9 - 20, 2014. The exercise spans multiple locations in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia, and involves approximately 4,500 personnel from 10 countries. The exercise is designed to promote regional stability, strengthen international military partnerships, enhance multinational interoperability and prepare participants for worldwide contingency operations. Sgt. Tyler J. Fox adjusts his M110 Semi-Automatic Sniper System's wind and elevation knobs in preparation of an unknown distance qualification range August 18 at Bradshaw Field Training Area, Northern Territory, Australia, during Exercise Koolendong 14. The range focused on increasing scout sniper's long range precision firing capabilities. The Marines challenged themselves with the M40 A5, M110 SASS and the M107 SASR. The Marines are with Scout Sniper Platoon, 1st Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment and are currently deployed in part of the Marine Rotational Force Darwin. The rotational deployment of U.S. Marines affords an unprecedented combined training opportunity with our Australian allies, and improves interoperability with our forces. SWIDWIN AIR BASE, Poland -- Soldiers of the Polish army's 6th Airborne Brigade and U.S. Army Europe's 173rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team (Airborne) stand together in formation to commemorate the 173rd's arrival here, April 23. The 6th -- one of the 173rd's sister units -- will join the Americans in the first in a series of expanded U.S. land force training activities among NATO allies in Poland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania as part of recently announced exercises to demonstrate U.S. commitment to the alliance and increase interoperability between forces. HONOLULU, Hawaii (Mar. 23, 2015) - U.S. Navy Rear Adm. Nancy Norton, U.S. Pacific Command (USPACOM) director for Command, Control, Communications and Cyber, provides opening remarks during the Multinational Communications Interoperability Program (MCIP) Planning Staff Workshop 2, in preparation for the upcoming humanitarian and disaster relief capstone event Pacific Endeavor (PE), at the Ala Moana Hotel in Honolulu. Pacific Endeavor is a series of events that occur each year designed to manage the momentum of the Indo-Asia Pacific rebalance and strengthen relationships with allies and partners by testing the communications response to a natural disaster.
