Did I mention that I was switching bank accounts?
Well I am, and the process is going reasonably smoothly, but not without at least one glitch.
It means I've been getting lots of post, and today I got a little cardboard box with this in. Familiar to those that use them and strange to those that don't, it's a code generator. This one uses a chip and pin authentication before generating the code so should be reasonably secure.
It just looks like a pain in the arse to me. Let's see how long it keeps working for.

For some reason, I enjoy digging through malware and web-based javascript exploits, and the executables they try to download and install - keyloggers and bot clients, looking for strings giving clues as to what the program does with its ill-gotten gains. Perhaps I'm odd, or just enjoy a technical puzzle in a language I sometimes speak.
This is a binary downloaded from a nasty web exploit doing the rounds, El Reg has the story.. They're actually calling for help in figuring out what the hell is going on, an internet security "call to arms" if you will .. So if you might know something, check out the article and get in contact with the author, etc. (No joke!)
