Imagine a world before the Internet, where there was hardly any form of communication amongst the crossdressing/transvestite community. All was not completely lost however. One single light in the UK during the 1980's and 90's was Swish Publications's "World of Transvestism" (or WOTV as it became abbreviated). A successor to the much earlier "Tranz" magazine, WOTV was published monthly, inside was an "Aladin's Cave" of letters, photos (black and white), occasionally stories and illustrations. The publishing quality was quite poor and WOTV was not cheap (I think it was £6 when I first started to acquire my own personal copies).The cover usually graced some of the more photogenic girls, many of whom I am pleased to say are on Flickr. In view of their privacy I shall not post those, but I would like to share this cover showing an example of the sorts of illustrations that were often printed.

Stockists were few in fact in my area there was only one newsagent that stocked maybe one or two copies a month, but one could travel to Swish's main store in Greek Street London, to purchase missing copies or "bargain bundles".

Sadly I now longer have the magazines, but I did scan all the covers and most of the images of some of the girls from those magazines. Still no internet...I miss Flickr...another quick upload..still waiting for word on my 40d...I have been using the XTi with the 100-400mm lens and the 1.4 Tamron converter attached..and really notice a big improvement on clarity and sharpness in the images even with the converter! The only downside to the Xti is more noise.

Now ! The tech center that is used by ATT ( is a sub-contractor for them and many others ) is located in ( I know where but I won't say ) in India or Pakistan. they have 25,000 persons a trick there. ( that is probably why I will never find out ). That person is able to access my system through my modem ( the tech verified that ) They can also use any device hooked into your network to spy on you. ( sound system, Roku, amazon, or any other streaming device. ) Why they do this I don't know ! The persons behind this ( most likely political associated or they are violating the law possibly hopping to catch you doing something they will be able to hang you with. The police are just as underhanded as the scumbag politicians )

I am a joe nobody. i am an independent politically ( I vote for the person I believe will be best suited to run the country. Not because of party affiliations ) Those who vote on party affiliations are the useful idiots does not make a difference what party. They are usually focused on only the issues they have a vested interest in ( gay rights abortions ETC ) They are ignorant as hell about the rest of what is going on .

Now to shorten this diatribe we have a person, located in a country foreign to the U.S., who is in my computer possibly doing an illegal thing by violating my privacy without the proper authority to do so because either they are a pervert and found away to look at all the questionable material on the internet , part of a scumbag enforcement organization

(seriously you can no longer trust these people) or they have affiliations to some thieving, lowlife politician. In this country they could be on the right or left but most likely you find the bulk of them in the democratic party. Even if you don't live in the U.S. their policies will eventually cause you some grave problems. ( we are no longer isolated from each other as we were in the days of my great grand father ) We are becoming more interconnected everyday . Today I can find out what is going on anywhere on the planet in a few milliseconds .

I hope this lowlife ass wipe ( he or she ) gets some major karma in return for what they are doing. They are invading my privacy and indirectly the privacy of every person who follows me. Not only can they see everything i do but everything that everyone else is doing as well.

Sometimes a picture is worth a thousand words. BBN is the random scatter of green in the middle (early ARPANET). Sprint is the organized star topology in purple near the top. This technique can also see the network “lights go out” during wartime bombing raids.

In a nutshell, they use a modified hacker trick of sending a storm of IP packets out randomly across the network. Each packet is programmed to self-destruct after a delay, and when this happens, the packet failure notice reports back the path the packet took before it died. To visualize this sea of data, Ches applied place & route software from the semiconductor CAD industry to untangle the hairball of data and spread it out in a 2D map that humans can easily absorb. In these maps, one can see security gaps and unknown network connections. (disclosure: we invested them when they spun out of Bell Labs)

No internet access is the new "my dog at my homework." (Valid for many kids around the globe, but not my students - most of the time)

It is a struggle for high school kids to stay focused on school work when they don't have a teacher keeping them on task and a lot of their parents are at work. I spend much of my day trying to herd them in while they are miles away from me. Kids have many excuses for why they are not doing assignments (I can see their work in real time). They tell me they lost power, their Wifi connection is bad, they got kicked out of the Google Meet, their work was lost due to bad connection, their mics don't work so they can't answer questions...yadda yadda yadda. Luckily, most of them are working most of the time and many are fabulous and I am grateful.
