What's a woman
sharp and cut
every angle directed at
another until
each intersection ceases to
mean anything individually at all.
What's a woman
that allows for
her vulnerable underbelly
to show
each mark that was made by
the one lucky enough to have
rolled her the lifetime
before.
How I imagine the internal dialogue goes:
[Person walking up the stairs at the station...]
"Boy, I am thirsty and in need of a drink. I wonder where I can get one."
[Sees the sign for "Carlo's Club Happy Hour"]
"Oh good, a bar! But it looks like a locals kind of place. Hmm."
[See the "Commuters are welcome" part of the sign]
"Oh great! Commuters like me are welcome. I will go right in."
I have yet to visit Carlo's, but since Alex vouched for it, I think I need to give it a shot.
Day 28. Desperation sets in. What can I do for today's shot? I know! Nudity!
Hmmm... That retching sound was not the reaction I was hoping for.
"But you ... without clothes
Oh, I could not keep a straight face
Me - without clothes ?
Well, a nation turns its back and gags..."
