the shed has been shifted around, due to family arriving for christmas. my sewing table has been placed in the kitchen as an extra place to eat and the sofa etc pushed into my studio to make for a second lounge area...

 

rather like having a place to eat in the kitchen, but poor Miss Ethel is quite put out :)

needless to say that when i arrived the hotel to start the family photo session, before their baby's christening, i was in love with all the decor.

 

the parents, interior designers had designed the hotel and took over all the party styling, mixing the rustic with the fall mood.

 

absolutely gorgeous from the first detail to the last!

it appears to always be spring time at mossy shed these days...

apart from dabbling with the 'gleeful season' i've just stayed in spring mode. it's done the trick so far with the winter blues.

thursday i rustled up some patchwork curtains made from two retro tablecloths and various pieces of white linen ones... when drawn together they resemble one big patch work cloth.
