The Jacobean floral print Darjeeling is the standout fabric in this collection, in classic chinoiserie blue and indigo on an ivory ground. It's complemented by jacquard wovens in indigo — the ikat design Samani, the paisley Basira and the ottoman stripe Mulsanne. The smaller-scale embroideries April Flowers or Unlinxed would make lovely window treatments, pillows or a tableskirt. Completing this mix of fabrics is a subtle diamond-pattern solid; a textured linen would also play well with all the patterns here.

This is the model I built for a retail kiosk I designed in an interior design studio class. It is for a company called Missive that would sell stationery supplies. My inspiration was a curling piece of paper and I cut the letters out of the roof so they would cast shadows throughout the interior.
