Laurent Designs takes you to the island of Isolotto to visit their very own mid-century modern lakeside home. With a tropical essence on a lakeside front, the house is evident in organic touches with wooden and brass accents that provides an oasis vibe.

The house is a calm and silent place to call home. The livingroom is hovering above the still water of the swimming pool. The living area is divided into different floor levels. Kitchen and toilet are located on ground floor. Landing, livingroom, bedroom and bathroom can be found on next level. A combined music and reading corner is hosted on the highest level. A friend of mine told me that she imagined this house to be located in Italy. I think that Italy is a very good guess.
I-5 Design handled the complete design and remodel of the 4 Bears Casino gaming floor, from the new lighting elements to the carpets!

I grew up with this sideboard. When my folks let us have it for our apartment when first married, we were more than excited. As we moved from house to house it came with us. It has finally landed here (about 10 years ago when we did this bathroom remodel) as our bathroom vanity complete with sink. I love this piece, it's the perfect mix of quirky and serenity.
This quilt was inspired by a personal increasing interest in Mid-Century design, and a desire to create items where beauty and function go hand in hand.

PAX is a storage series with wardrobes in different sizes, styles and colors for the doors. Interior fixtures are called Komplement. More about these in my post about it.
The simple game table and chairs complement the lively wallpaper instead of distracting from it.
