Social Interface Traveling Through The City Streets

An object migrating from the suburbs to the city centre and back has become a symbolic interface, a temporary space established with the aim of connecting Lublin’s communities and social groups. The objective of this happening was an attempt at discovering the answers to the questions. How can it be made possible to achieve a balance, a connection between the analog «off-line» culture, which is strictly bound to the nature of the places which people inhabit, and the modern, digital and virtual «on-line» culture, where it is not the place where one lives that is of any importance? How can bonds and connections between people representing those two different cultures be forged, and how can they become involved in a mutually collaborative creative process?

Соціальний інтерфейс, що подорожує по вулицях міста
Об'єкт, що мігрує з передмістя до центру міста і назад, став символічним інтерфейсом, тимчасовим простором для об'єднання громад Любліна та його соціальних груп. Цей хепенінг мав на меті знайти відповіді на питання. Яким чином можна досягти балансу – зв'язку між аналоговою «офф-лайн» культурою, прив'язаною до природи місць, де живуть люди, і сучасною, цифровою і віртуальною «он-лайн» культурою, де місце, в якому людина живе, не має ніякого значення? Як можуть бути встановлені зв'язки і зобов'язання між людьми, що представляють дві різні культури, і як вони можуть бути залучені в спільний творчий процес?

Obiekt, migrujący z przedmieścia do centrum miasta i z powrotem, stał się symbolicznym interfacem, tymczasową przestrzenią do połączenia wspólnot Lublina i jego grup socjalnych. Celem tego wydarzenia było znaleźć odpowiedzi na pytania. W jaki sposób można osiągnąć równowagę – związek między analogową kulturą off-line, ściśle związaną z przyrodą miejsc, gdzie mieszkają ludzie, oraz współczesną cyfrową i wirtualną kulturą on-line, gdzie miesjce, w którym zamieszkuje człowiek, nie ma żadnego znaczenia? Jak mogą być nawiązane kontakty i zobowiązania między ludźmi, reprezentującymi dwie różne kultury, i jak oni mogą być zaangażowani we wspólnym procesie twórczym?

Социальный интерфейс, путешествующий по улицам города
Объект, мигрирующий из пригорода в центр города и обратно, стал символическим интерфейсом, временным пространством для объединения общин Люблина и его социальных групп. Целью этого хепенинга было найти ответы на вопросы. Каким образом можно достичь баланса – связи между аналоговой «офф-лайн» культурой, строго привязанной к природе мест, где живут люди, и современной, цифровой и виртуальной «он-лайн» культурой, где место, в котором человек живет, не имеет никакого значения? Как могут быть установлены связи и обязательства между людьми, представляющими две различные культуры, и как они могут быть вовлечены в совместный творческий процесс?

This happens to me several times a day: someone posts a YouTube video on their blog and it turns up in my feedreader. Hmmm, should I watch it now or star it for later? Well, how long is it?
I don't know. The player says 0:00/0:00.
Starting playback just to get the running time seems really silly, and it actually takes a while. Pretty sure they could fix that.

You won't imagine the time it took me to see the coin insert slot.. in the picture seems quite distinct but because of the room lights and the red and orange tones of the overall machine it was nearly impossible to detect it...
Why are these options in a group? They should just be part of the list. And why are the options in the list not in alphabetical order, or at least some order that makes sense (something priority-based, perhaps, that puts names, emails, and address near the top, or at least mirrors the order of fields on the contact card layout)?
