This was captured from the startup of an online animation. Nothing like knowing the percent loaded to the one ten-thousandth of one percent.

The entire load took perhaps 25 seconds.

Since 2004, Linz Art University has offered an “Interface Cultures” master’s degree program in which students learn scientific and, above all, artistic ways of working with all possible—and impossible—forms of communication with machines and devices. From the very outset, this program founded by Christa Sommerer (AT) and Laurent Mignonneau (FR) has offered students the opportunity to showcase their work in conjunction with Ars Electronica and thereby to reach very large audiences.

Improving climate change reporting in the Mediterranean: Science – Media interface

Talk-Café: Stories about people life, what’s is behind 2º C

As the climate issue moves further into public policy, journalists will face new challenges in sorting out the political and economic interests of experts with a dizzying array of opinions about the costs and benefits of combating global warming. In an open and creative conversation, some journalists from AMAN and other media will explain, based on their experience, examples of good stories on climate change that got more public impact, as well as the challenges that they face with their chief-editors or public opinion to explain, the policy side of the debate (eg COP), the scientific dimension or the potential economic impact of climate actions.

Interface illustration for a company that specializes in toy packaging.

Meant to be converted from Illustrator into a Flash website.

Note the toybox would link to their toy packaging samples, the coloring pages would link to sell sheets, etc.
