VLT 37 was a Leyland Olympian with Alexander R Type body. She had fleet number 13603 with Stagecoach Bluebird and is depicted on the original M9 service from Dundee to Glasgow via Perth.

Originally registered as ER8952, VLT37 was delivered to Hong Kong in 1989. Operating with Citybus as fleet number 137. She returned to the UK in 2003 with several sisters, joining Stagecoach and receiving Megabus livery (including Sid! - the Dara O’Briain lookalike mascot. Sid disappeared from Megabus livery some years ago).

13603 is a 1:76 scale diecast model by Creative Master Northcord (CMNL) as HKbus 2002.

Iveco Irizar dual door on the 3 route.

Set upon my “Springs Shopping Centre & Bus Station” diorama is this 1:76 scale representation of a Plaxton Premiere as operated by Megabus in Scotland. The model is a “Code 3” repaint of a Corgi OOC Diecast model, it was dismantled before being resprayed, reassembled and having waterslide transfers applied. It is my own work.

HKBus 2005 - G189 YRJ - Stagecoach Manchester. Fleet No 13616. Destination Board - Manchester no service number.

Two modern representations of Intercity coach services in Scotland. Both of these 1/76 scale (OO Gauge) model coaches are Code 3 repaints. Whilst I cannot take credit for this particular Megabus model, the Citylink Gold Irizar is my own work.

Shown here in offside view are a Caetano Levante in Megabus livery including the mascot “Sid”. The Megabus brand is owned by Stagecoach Group, frequently utilising other operators whose coaches bear the Megabus livery whilst on contracted services.

Behind is a Scania Irizar PB, repainted in maroon and gold and representing the Scottish Citylink “Citylink Gold” luxury express service. Citylink first began operating in March of 1985, having undergone many changes throughout the years, they are now operated under a joint venture between Stagecoach and ComfortDelGro.

Belshotmuir Bus & Coach Depot.

Hosting a selection of Scottish Citylink coaches from other operators, and showing the gradual progression of some of the Citylink liveries throughout the years, up to and including Citylink Gold as represented by a Code 3 repainted Scania Irizar. The West Coast Motors Van Hool Alizee may also *technically* count as a code 3, but only just - having had the destination board altered to show service to Glasgow rather than Campbeltown as upon release from Corgi.

Included are; P100 WCM, West Coast Motors. P492 FAS, Rapsons, V74 DSN, Tayside Public Transport (later to become Travel Dundee, then XPlore Dundee, part of National Express Group). And finally the Citylink Gold without a VRM.

Scottish Citylink have been in operation since 1985 and are now run as a joint venture by ComfortDelGro and Stagecoach.
