Brian is a solid supporter of Intel’s education and community activities for over 12 years. Brian is committed to making a difference as is evident from the projects he is involved in.
Brian has been heavily engaged with the Intel Involved Program since its inception and is not afraid to get his hands dirty whether planting trees, painting classrooms or being involved in the Green Schools campaign.
He also volunteers in a local primary school where he teaches students about life as an engineer, how computer microchips work and the important part they play in computers and some of the everyday items we all use.
Using his professional skills, Brian teaches the students about computer programming and provides them with hands on experience of programming and using robots. As part of the Intel Matching Grants scheme Brian has also earned over €10,000 for the school he works with.
In his spare time Brian and his family organise an annual national sponsored swim, ‘The Ian Daly Swim A Mile With A Smile’. The swim takes place each April in public and private pools all around Ireland and is in memory of Brian’s son, Ian, who passed away in 2003.
The sponsored swim has grown in popularity over the years and so far has raised over €300,000 for Crumlin Children’s Hospital and Barretstown Camp.
Intel is the world's largest semiconductor chip maker. The company is the inventor of the x86 series of microprocessors, the processors found in most personal computers. Intel was founded on July 18, 1968, as Integrated Electronics Corporation and based in Santa Clara, California, USA. Founded by semiconductor pioneers Robert Noyce and Gordon Moore, and widely associated with the executive leadership and vision of Andrew Grove, Intel combines advanced chip design capability with a leading-edge manufacturing capability. Originally known primarily to engineers and technologists, Intel's successful "Intel Inside" advertising campaign of the 1990s made it and its Pentium processor household names.

PC ‘all-in-one’ adattabili
Come raggruppare tutti questi dispositivi?
