Inside High Bay 3 of the Vehicle Assembly Building at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida, technicians with the agency’s Exploration Ground Systems integrate the left forward center booster segment for the NASA’s SLS (Space Launch System) rocket onto the left center center segment atop the mobile launcher on Thursday, Jan. 30, 2025. The NASA “worm” insignia can be seen on both the center center booster segments. The boosters will help support the remaining rocket components and the Orion spacecraft during final assembly of the Artemis II Moon rocket and provide more than 75 percent of the total SLS thrust during liftoff from NASA Kennedy’s Launch Pad 39B. More than 250 friends and supporters joined EHMC Foundation for “Be Integrative,” a spectacular evening reception to benefit The Center for Integrative Medicine at EHMC.
Roney looks rather depressed and tired, but this is simply the effect of the drugs waring off. It's usually pretty hard on them being without their drugs on the streets, but we pay very little attention to their drug "addiction" recognising this only as a symptom of their high-risk situation and not a real problem as is their real dependency to the streets.
We run a completely drug-free environment at Hummingbird and that includes everyone involved in the work here. This helps considerably when it comes to ridding street kids of their drug dependency. We have really no problem reducing their dependency and normally they will stop using all forms of drugs as soon as their decision to stay off the streets is reached.
Time has proven this to be a long-lasting decision as non of our former street kids smoke even cigarettes today.
It is in deepest regret and sadness that I inform you of Roney's cold-blooded murder on the early morning hours of January 16th. May he find peace wherever his journey has taken him.......
We need your Change more than ever now, to bring about justice so that Roney's death will not have been in vain.

On Wednesday, September 28, 2022, at the University of Mississippi’s Gertrude C. Ford Center, Mr. James Meredith was recognized by both that educational institution and the U.S. Marshals Service. With the 60th anniversary of the integration of the University approaching on October 1, the institutional ceremony, entitled “The Mission Continues-Building Upon the Legacy,” gave USMS Director Ronald L. Davis the perfect opportunity to award Meredith one of highest honors he could, and made him an Honorary Deputy U.S. Marshal. In the history of the U.S. Marshals Service only a handful of people have ever received this honor.
Of the approximately 350 deputy U.S. marshals and deputized personnel that ensured the registration and safety of Mr. Meredith during this time, few are living today. Retired Deputy U.S. Marshal Herschel Garner, the youngest of the cadre of deputies present during the riots that preceded registration, attended the ceremony representing all of them.
This historical event continues the partnership between the USMS and the University of Mississippi in recognizing the importance of educational equality and the role of our deputies in bringing this about. While it truly was a battle that resulted in Mr. Meredith attending and graduating from the school of his choice, the decade celebrations from 2002 to 2022 remain important moments in their own right.

The western part of Berlin was always having space issues and as a result they tried to compress all kinds of buildings and infrastructure into a tight space. This image was supposed to give a small idea of how that looks.
