It did not take me long to have a few ideas today. I was racking my brain however earlier in the week. Sometimes an idea just
pops into your head out of the blue. Problem today was that I needed to take the shot before I left for rehearsal. There would not be any real light once home later on.

"Find a corner or a spot somewhere that interests you and photograph the scene for a much longer period of time than you would ordinarily." - Stu Egan
When I tire of taking photos I look at the work of others and what they are up to in their photography. It works every time ... I am inspired to pick up my camera and shoot.
A case in point is this sampling (from my TV screen) of a couple of photographers; Olga Karlovic and Alexey Titarenko (all rights reserved to them of course). I confess I have too many photography books for our small lakeside A-frame cottage.

I hadn’t noticed until I got this photo into the editor that it appears that this hemlock looper caterpillar is interpreting the words stamped on the lumber as if they are “instructions” :)

Street & Repeat - 107 Instruction #1 by Ilya Shtutsa : "Let's explore the connection between our dreams and our perception"
=================================================
A hard week had reached its end, it was Friday late at night and I was feeling very tired and sleepy ....the last thing I remember was the following phrase by Oscar Wilde I just had read:
“What men call the shadow of the body is not the shadow of the body, but is the body of the soul.” (by Oscar Wilde)
..and then I sunk into a dream: "I was somewhere out in the streets of a town and something very strange was going one : I could only see the shadows of the people around me and not their body's or their faces...just bodiless shadows moving around under a gray cloudy sky. I was also nothing more than a shadow ... I continued horrified moving around, knowing that the only way to see again the bodies of the people, their faces and expression was if the light of the sun could break through the clouds and reflect back their bodies
