The distinctive wing pattern and shape of Emesis make them instantly recognisable as a genus. Emesis mandana, in common with several other Emesis species, is quite variable in colour, ranging from dull reddish to bright orange-yellow. This butterfly is common and widespread throughout much of central and South America.
This species apparently occurs in primary and secondary forest habitats at altitudes between sea level and at least 2000m, but is most frequently encountered below 800m.

Just outside Leavenworth, on a semi-private back road that takes you above the valley with stunning views of the glacial moraine which it is, and the monstrous erratics on the ridge, and then the stunning foreground of a yellow flower that instantly lifts my mood, especially against the blue sky, and the white snow still on our local mountains. It doesn't get any better.
This amazing life size statue instantly captured my eye from across the cemetery...with the catacombs of Salzburg behind her she was hard to miss...you all know how much I adore faces!

When I saw this topic on the list, I instantly knew what I wanted to photograph. Or, perhaps more precisely, who. After all, the Wild Birds Unlimited store I frequent has a shop cat named Frankie. How could I not bring along my camera one day and take photos of him?

Some masterpieces are instantly radiant. Happy Caturday theme 31 August 2019 "The smallest feline is a masterpiece." (Tikki is the smallest adult cat I ever owned - having been between 7.5 and 8.5 lbs during the 9.5 years she has lived with me, after coming to Oregon Humane as a 2 year old stray.) Patch and Tutti just met and knew instantly that they would be best friends threw thick n' thin. Matilda, a neighbors dog, accompanied them, gladly treating Goof to a piggy ride.
Patch: You are much shorter up close.
Tutti: And you have a larger head!
P: . . . So what do we do now?
T: We could always go and pick on someone smaller I know.
P: I usually only harass bigger people.
T: Oh but this one is a threat to both of us.
P: Really?
T: Oh yes! She has a bigger head than you and is shorter than me and, she made fun of Goof!!
P: Oh no she didn't! Lead the way!

My Big Brother's Hands
When I came into the world,
Mommy held me out to you.
She said to touch me softly,
She showed you what to do.
Your hands proudly held me,
You claimed me as your own.
You asked if I was "for keeps",
If you could take me home.
Your hands are Mommy's helpers,
Anything silly to make me smile.
Hunting for my lost blankie,
Pushing the stroller for awhile.
Your hands are my amusement,
Playing peekaboo with sheets.
Humpty Dumpty and pat-a-cake,
Tickling my tummy and my feet.
Your hands are my heros,
I'll watch intently as you play.
My curious eyes will follow you,
I'll want to be like you one day.
As we both grow older -
A bond both strong and deep.
Between me and my big brother,
Who gave his love for keeps.

Sometimes you wake up in the morning and you instantly know something is missing. It's still dark, and so quiet, and the warmth you dreamt was next to you just isn't there. There's a cloudy hollowness in your head where there's room for sunny happiness. But I throw the duvet off and head out towards the lightening horizon. Heading upwards for the hill top. I breath the cool air. I let sleepy eyes open. It's beautiful as I look out on the misty, dreamy valley below. Dawn is here. I smile as the warm glow on the landscape takes form and grows like a blooming flower to radiate sunshine on my face. I let its rays soak into my cheeks. I feel thankful to be alive, fortunate to enjoy this moment, lucky to see this scene. It's another day and the sun is shining. Its a new beginning. Feeling the happiness, feeling the love of life, feeling the joy of love I look at that beautiful, glowing, happy face above me and I want to shout to the world "You are the sunshine of my life!". And so I do, holding that joy in my heart, and wearing that smile, on my face all day.

The baboon's gaze captivates me instantly. It almost feels like he's looking at me in a quiet, profound way. He doesn’t seem sad, but rather thoughtful, almost as if he has a story to tell. The details and soft lighting make the image especially striking to me, and I find myself looking at it again and again.

As I stand before the watercolor painting created using digital tools using one of my own pictures as model, I am instantly transported to the quaint and picturesque streets of Brugge, Belgium. The artist's skillful brushstrokes have beautifully captured the essence of this historic city, and my eyes are drawn to a particular scene in the heart of the old town.
In the center of the painting, nestled among cobblestone streets and surrounded by charming modern buildings, stands a remarkably old house. Its weathered facade exudes a sense of history, revealing the passage of time etched onto its walls. The centuries have gently worn away its vibrant colors, leaving behind a muted palette of soft pastels, harmonizing with the surrounding architecture.
The house, once a residence of the past, has undergone a remarkable transformation. It has been lovingly repurposed into a chocolate store, its purpose changed, but its soul preserved. Windows adorn the ground floor, proudly displaying the mouthwatering creations within.
Through the windows, I catch glimpses of the delightful confections that await inside. Rows of handmade chocolates, elegantly arranged and tempting passersby, create a mesmerizing display. The store's interior seems to emanate a warm glow, inviting visitors to step inside and experience the enchantment within.
The artist's attention to detail is truly remarkable. They have skillfully captured the intricate architectural features of the old house. The steeply pitched roof, adorned with weathered tiles, adds character and charm.
The painting depicts a bustling scene around the chocolate store. Tourists and locals alike pause to admire the old house-turned-store, their faces alive with wonder and anticipation. The sound of laughter and conversation drifts through the air, mingling with the aromas of chocolate and the soft melody of distant church bells.
As I continue to gaze at the watercolor painting, I am filled with a sense of nostalgia and wonder. It encapsulates the essence of Brugge—the harmonious blend of history and modernity, the preservation of heritage in the face of changing times. It reminds me of the beauty that can emerge when the past and present come together, transforming a once-forgotten house into a sanctuary of chocolate delights in the heart of a city that holds its memories dear.

The tree line, the place where you reach a height or exposure where the trees don’t grow. It sounds so binary, trees then there is no trees, but it all depends what you feel about them. On this little fell it could not be more interesting. The fell stands at only 537 metres and the trees are present all the way to a height of 500m, and the change as you climb 240m from the roadside could not be more diverse, my own journey started with a climb passed broad leaf beeches and oaks. Climbing higher off piste following whatever took my interest, I needed to navigate steep sided becks with banks laced with birches and rowans finding more lonely oaks on sparser hillsides on the other side. The high line of wind twisted larch trees looks far away with effort to climb the fell but come ever closer as I raise my head in that direction. As I make my way through the dense larch, stooping and delicately bending turnstile branches I enter open fell side with sparsely dotted Scots pine these give way to barren windswept fell and my final push through horizontal mizzle I reach an uninteresting summit to turn around instantly to the comfort of that tree line.
The famous climbing Hut Black Rock Cottage is situated on the access road to the Glencoe mountain ski area. Black Rock Cottage is one of the most famous white painted buildings in the Scottish Highlands and is instantly recognisable from the many gifts and Scottish calendars that it appears on. Sitting proudly in front of the Buachaille Etive Mòr mountain in Glen Coe Black Rock Cottage will remain a firm favourite with photographers and hikers who pass on the west Highland way.

Instantly recognisable water lilies (family Nymphaeaceae) are possibly the most sought after of all water plants. They live as aquatic herbs in temperate and tropical climates around the world.
The family contains five genera with about 70 known species.
Water lily colours are typically blue, pink, magenta, yellow or white. There are also the unusual colour combinations of orange, peach, yellow and green.
This picture was taken in the Botanical gardens of the Utrecht University in the Netherlands.

Well, yes my friends... Those of you who are following my work will have realized instantly that this is another photo from my Rosolina archive. It was the first and only time I have been at Rosolina Mare (Rosolina by the Sea), but I have been lucky enough to have two wonderful sunrise sessions there. And apparently my archive from this location has some more suprises in store, somehow (sadly) compensating for the very small trickle of new shots.
There had been a heavy thunderstorm during the night and the sky was still busy in the fiery aftermath of that turmoil, whereas the sea was very calm, already oblivious of the nocturnal gale.
The northern Adriatic Sea is pretty shallow, so even moderate low tides are able to unveal large sandbanks and a hidden world of sand ripples sculpted by the gentle, constant ebb and flow of the water near the coast. However the detail that really captured me was that stranded tangle of reddish seaweed: a remnant of the thunderstorm left on the beach whispering to the sky its own part of the story while slowly dying shrouded in a veil of warm light - surrounded and permeated by all that almost unbearable beauty. This image is sister to another one I posted some two years ago, Ode to a stranded seaweed; it is an altogether different scene (same location and same morning, but different place and time), but the soul of that wonderful morning and the stranded reddish seaweed are much the same *.
As I was approaching the final stages of the processing I felt that a lone seagull would have added a nice final touch to the whole scene but alas, there were no seabirds that morning (one cannot have everything...), so I have taken one from an older shot to be added to this seascape. When at last the seagull was at the right place, I realised that it was not a mere esthetic prosthesis - on the contrary, it added new dimensions of meaning to the scene. And I could hear the faint whisper of the stranded, dying seaweed greeting the seagull and wishing it good luck: "fly high, bird of the sea, and rejoyce in the new day - my end is your beginning!"
* Since postprocessing is a journey of discovery for me, it is exceedingly rare that I apply the same Darktable saved styles (or, say, my earlier Nik ColorEfex formulas) to different bracketings, even when they are quite similar to each other. This means that similar starting points can lead to very different final results, conveying both the evolution of my postprocessing skills and my different feelings about the scene.
I have obtained this picture by blending an exposure bracketing [-1.0/0/+1.0 EV] by luminosity masks in the Gimp (EXIF data, as usual, refer to the "normal" exposure shot), then I added some final touches with Nik Color Efex Pro 4. Raw files processed with Darktable. Denoising with Dfine.
The Curlew is the largest European wading bird, instantly recognisable on estuaries in winter and moors in summer. Look for its down-curved bill, brown upperparts, long legs and listen for its evocative, bubbling, call. In the winter, you’ll see Curlews feeding in groups on tidal mudflats, saltmarshes and nearby farmland. While some of our birds spend the winter in Ireland and France, we get an influx of Scandinavian-breeding Curlews here, who make the most of our relatively mild winters. In the spring and summer, Curlews migrate to their breeding grounds in upland areas of rough pasture, heather moorland and wetland. Curlews breed on a range of habitats, but like rough grasslands, moorlands and bogs best of all. Intensive farming practices, including drainage and reseeding, are likely to have contributed to declines in breeding populations, as has the turning of areas of moorlands into forest. Together, these activities are having a huge impact on Curlew populations. Curlews numbers are also impacted by nest predators, mainly foxes, who take eggs, chicks and adult birds. Like many wading birds, Curlews lay their eggs in a nest on the ground – known as a ‘scrape’. The parents incubate the eggs for about four weeks, before the young leave the nest and roam around with their parents for a further four weeks, until fledging. The UK breeding population of Curlews is of international importance, with around 30% of the west European population spending winter in the UK. Despite this, there have been worrying declines in the breeding population in much of the UK. In 2015, Curlews were added to the Red List on the UK Conservation Status Report. Red is the highest conservation priority, with species on this list needing urgent action. Curlews are struggling, with big declines in breeding populations and ranges.

While I was taking this photo, this song came on and instantly teleported me back in time, to earlier days, The Proclaimers were our anthem—4 to 8 of us crammed around a beach bonfire, guitar in hand, a few beers too many, and all of us bellowing the lyrics like we were the band (just with way less talent). Good times, wonderfully questionable vocals. I can hear us now...

As I gazed upon the digital watercolor painting before me, I found myself instantly transported to the enchanting streets of Dutch Fort in Galle, Sri Lanka. The scene, recreated from one of my own photographs, beautifully captured the essence of this picturesque street. It was a captivating blend of colonial European architecture adorned with intricate Asian details.
The soft, translucent brushstrokes in delicate pastel shades imbued the painting with a dreamlike quality, reminiscent of traditional watercolor techniques. The colors seemed to dance on the canvas, as if reflecting the vibrant energy that permeated the street.
The architectural marvels that lined the street stood as a testament to the historical significance of Dutch Fort. The colonial European influence was evident in the elegant facades, adorned with ornate windows and grand entrances. The buildings exuded a sense of grandeur, their pastel hues blending harmoniously with the surrounding tropical landscape.
What made this scene truly remarkable were the subtle Asian touches woven into the architectural tapestry. Intricate wooden carvings, reminiscent of traditional Sri Lankan craftsmanship, adorned the eaves and balustrades of the buildings. The gentle curves and intricate patterns added a layer of elegance and cultural richness to the scene.
As I immersed myself in the painting, I could almost feel the warm breeze caressing my face, carrying with it the fragrant scents of spices and sea salt. The street seemed to come alive with activity, as locals and visitors strolled leisurely, taking in the sights and sounds of this unique fusion of cultures.
The cobbled street beneath my virtual feet added an authentic touch to the scene, further enhancing its charm. The uneven stones bore the marks of time, hinting at the centuries of history that had unfolded on this very spot. It was as if the street itself whispered tales of ancient seafarers, traders, and explorers who had traversed its paths.
In that moment, the digital watercolor painting became a portal, allowing me to step into the vibrant world of Dutch Fort in Galle. The fusion of colonial European architecture and intricate Asian details created a harmonious symphony of cultures. It was a scene that celebrated the beauty of diversity and the power of architecture to transcend borders and time.
As I reluctantly tore my eyes away from the painting, I couldn't help but yearn to experience the magic of Dutch Fort in person. The painting had ignited a desire to wander those storied streets, to explore the hidden corners and soak in the rich tapestry of history and culture that awaited within the walls of this remarkable place.

Now go on, buttercup—make ‘em stare. 💋
“That looks like him.” Lee summoned up a piercing whistle in the direction of the figure by the shore that reduced my left ear to a bout of whining tinnitus, scattering a nearby group of oystercatchers into the air as he did so. It was helpful that Lloyd was in photographer mode, because it instantly gave him away when all we could really remember from our previous meeting was that he was quite tall, and he didn’t have the trademark beard that we had been expecting to identify him with. We all do photographer mode, and it’s what separates us from everyone else; edging back and forward, from side to side and peering intently at something that nobody else can see as we weigh up our compositions. “Should I stand here, or three inches to the left? Should I go forward a bit, or back ten feet? Should I have the tripod fully extended or belly down on the sand?” You don’t often see the selfie stick brigade taking quite so much care over where they’ve put that rock or whether they’ve lined up their repeating diagonals before they hit the shutter button.
I wasn’t sure I was going to be around for Lloyd’s visit, but the big plans to go far north to the Highlands and Islands had been parked for the time being, meaning a get together at Godrevy was now on the agenda. I’m always ready for a reason to go to Godrevy after all. Lloyd had already been here for some time, and you’ve probably seen the image he took before we arrived. We saw it first on the back of his camera so there. Just saying. It’s definitely his in case you were wondering.
Initially we headed for a spot that not many people make it to, on the rocks below a small cliff near the lighthouse, where it seemed we’d gatecrashed a party of one solitary seal, basking in the sunshine and watching us interestedly. I messaged my friend Katie, who in her spare time is a member of a sea life rescue group. Somehow in her busy life she manages to squeeze rescuing stranded dolphins, whales and seals among other aquatic mammals in distress, as well as photographing the underwater world and finding all sorts of fascinating things I never even knew existed. Who knew there was so much to see below the dark waters off the coast of Penzance? “Yes we’re monitoring it,” came the reply. “We think it’s just enjoying living there at the moment.” I looked again at the seal, which gazed back at me in return, almost smiling. I decided she was probably right. What wasn’t right was the light; we were here too early and retreated back up to the cliff path, watched as we went by a pair of black eyes that still seemed to smile. I never tire of watching the seals here – they usually come and watch me with interest as I pitch my tripod on the rocks just above the water here, no doubt wondering what on earth I’m up to. It always feels like a shared moment.
Back at the clifftop near the bench, Lloyd had a plan for sunset and made himself ready for the killer shot, while Lee eventually wandered away to the west, presumably in search of distant lone figures on the beach to stalk at two hundred millimetres. Meanwhile, I headed back down to the water’s edge where our new friend regarded me once more with those smiling black eyes, and giving it as wide a berth as it could I found my spot on the rocks, just in time for the sun to drop below the bank of cloud and illuminate the receding tide. Sometimes you just know you’ve got a shot that’s going to make you happy. After a while I decided I’d had the best of it, and returned to the top of the cliff, exchanging one last grin with those ever watching eyes as I went.
Lloyd was already at work behind the camera, and I joined him on a wide rocky shelf where we discussed the joys of photography and his plans for the rest of his visit. He was on a family holiday, and we all know that you can only get away with so much roaming around on lonely clifftops with your camera bag when your loved ones are with you. We stayed until dusk, neither of us sure when to give up and put the cameras away. It’s always like that when I’m alone here, and when you’re with someone who works in a similar way, that certainty in when to finish is often further fogged. But it had been a successful visit and we both left that clifftop feeling we’d got a shot or two worth sharing. We said our farewells and looked forward to Lloyd’s next visit when photography would be the central focus for him here. He’s rather good at it too.
I headed back down to those rocks a week later. The seal was gone. Maybe a pair of black smiling eyes were watching me from the water, but I didn’t see them.
I slip into the Kim Outfit and instantly feel that quiet confidence only perfectly balanced pieces can give. It’s effortless, intimate, and unapologetically modern—the kind of look that doesn’t ask for attention, yet receives it all the same.
The strapless bandeau top hugs me with a soft, sculpted precision, its subtle ruffled hem a flirtation at the waistline—just enough movement to feel playful, just enough structure to feel intentional. Paired with the relaxed, high-waisted shorts, the silhouette becomes pure contrast: gentle curves above, ease and freedom below. It’s the kind of casual chic that echoes summer icons of the late ’90s and early 2000s—those off-duty moments when style was personal, not performative.
What I love most is the versatility. With the fatpack HUD, I can shift moods instantly—soft neutrals for slow mornings, bold tones for evenings that linger. The materials feel lived-in yet refined, giving the look a tactile realism that reads beautifully in motion.
This is an outfit for moments between moments: lounging with intention, wandering without agenda, feeling beautiful simply because I am.

"Sometimes fashion doesn’t shout. Sometimes it leans in close—and lets you feel it."
The U.S. Civil War ended in 1865 after four grueling years of conflict, but the Confederacy’s surrender at Appomattox Court House didn’t instantly bring closure to a tattered nation. Instead, it marked the beginning of the laborious task of rebuilding a divided country, one that had more than 2 million newly minted veterans. Many were injured from battle or suffered war-related illnesses, and those who didn’t survive the war often left behind families with few ways to support themselves. As a solution to a growing health care and social crisis, the U.S. government created a pension system to financially aid Union soldiers and their widows for the rest of their lives. (Confederate soldiers did not qualify, though some Southern states funded their pensions.) By 1956, the last surviving Civil War veteran had died, but the Department of Veterans Affairs would continue issuing pension payments for decades to come — up until 2020.
Irene Triplett, a 90-year-old North Carolina woman, was the last person to receive a Civil War pension, thanks to her father’s service in the Union Army. Mose Triplett was originally a Confederate soldier who deserted in 1863 and later joined a Union regiment, a move that kept him out of the fight at Gettysburg, where 90% of his former infantry was killed. Switching sides also guaranteed Mose a pension for the remainder of his life, which would later play a role in him remarrying after the death of his first wife. At age 78, Mose married the 27-year-old Elida Hall — a move historians say was common during the Great Depression, when aging veterans needing care could provide financial security to younger women. The couple had two children, including Irene, who was diagnosed with cognitive impairments that allowed her to qualify for her father’s pension after both parents’ deaths. By the time of Irene’s own passing in 2020, the U.S. government had held up its duty, paying out Mose Triplett’s pension for more than 100 years.

The fabric looks sleek, silky, and lightly stretchy. The minimalist finish and streamlined shape make it endlessly versatile, whether I’m styling it with denim shorts, a relaxed mini, or layered under an open cardigan for an easy day-to-night look.
One of my favorite features is the HUD, which lets this top match my mood in seconds. With multiple silk-screened statement options—ranging from playful to bold—I can decide exactly how much attitude I want to bring that day. Soft neutrals and flirty pinks combine with graphic text details, turning a simple bandeau into a statement piece that always feels current and fun.
✨ A nod to fashion history:
The bandeau top traces its roots from 1940s resortwear through 1990s minimalist street style—favored by women who understood that confidence doesn’t need excess. It’s a silhouette that has always belonged to those who appreciate simplicity with intention.
👖 Casual-chic styling tips I swear by:
Do's:
* Pair with high-waisted denim, tailored trousers, or a relaxed mini
* Layer with a cropped jacket, fuzzy shrug, or open cardigan
* Keep accessories minimal—small hoops, soft glam makeup, effortless hair
Don'ts:
* Over-accessorize around the neckline
* Size down too aggressively—the beauty is in the smooth, natural fit
* Overthink it—this top thrives in simplicity
💗 Compatible mesh bodies:
* Legacy
* Legacy Perky
* Legacy Bombshell
* LaraX
* PetiteX
* Reborn
* Waifu

Final fashion advice:
Let your clothes support your confidence—not compete with it. When a piece feels this easy to wear, you’re already doing it right. 💕
Instantly recognisable and often erroneously called mushroom stones , Staddle stones (variations include steddle stones) have been used for centuries as the raised footings for granaries and tithe barns in order to prevent both damp and pesky rats and mice raiding the stores.
Generally found in the southern counties, Staddles can be found in a number of mediums, most commonly sandstone and granite, they will vary region by region and will these days be seen gracing rural driveways and gardens.
I have seen this type of granary in my area in Dorset (another southern county).
The Colosseum, Rome
Well there can’t be many more iconic and instantly recognisable structures in the world than the Colosseum in Rome.
Given how iconic it is there was no way I was not going to shoot it. Now one of my locations was covered by Daniel Burton recently www.flickr.com/photos/92169786@N06/54403371597/in/datepos... I did go there before this shot but I’ll save my take on it for another time. Having seen one or two compositions on Flickr I decided to do some research online before going to Rome to see if any other compositions presented themselves. Now, for me, this was pretty hard going as the vast majority of what I could see was all geared towards the ‘Insta-selfie’ crowd (thanks to Dom Haughton for that term). To me, anything on the Instaselfie hit-list is like a ‘No Entry’ sign. All full of people posing with mega-crowds of tourists in the background also taking selfies and eating gelatos. However, at the point I did come across a few locations that I felt had potential. Unfortunately some were not feasible due to a multitude of maintenance works going on but I got lucky here. It was just a case of waiting as I had a strong feeling the early sun might catch one side of the Colosseum. I had to be a little patient as it took a few mins for the sunlight to strike the top of the stone. Luckily it still had that soft orange tone but as the sun rose and the light travelled down the structure it soon lost that colour. I think this shot is a fair compromise between colour and amount of the Colosseum hatched in light.
According to Wikipedia the Colosseum is not only the largest standing amphitheatre in the world but also the largest ancient amphitheatre ever built. Construction began under the Emperor Vespasian in AD 72 and was completed in AD 80 under his successor and heir, Titus. Further modifications were made during the reign of Domitian (AD 81-96).
The Colosseum is built of travertine limestone, volcanic rock, and brick-faced concrete. It could hold an estimated 50,000 to 80,000 spectators at various points in its history, having an average audience of some 65,000. As is well known, it was used for gladiatorial contests and public spectacles including animal hunts, executions, re-enactments of famous battles, dramas based on Roman mythology, and briefly mock sea battles! It ceased to be used for entertainment in the early medieval era. It was later reused for such purposes as housing, workshops, quarters for a religious order, a fortress, a quarry, and a Christian shrine.
Although substantially ruined by earthquakes and stone robbers, the Colosseum is still a renowned symbol of Imperial Rome and was listed as one of the New 7 Wonders of the World - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_7_Wonders_of_the_World

Lupins are instantly familiar border annuals and perennials. The border plants are cottage-garden staples, with bold spires of brightly coloured flowers in summer. Shrub Lupins are less commonly grown but have the advantage of delicately scented flowers.
I instantly loved this photo as soon as I saw it, I find the shapes that waves produce fascinating - they are never the same.

This Bridge instantly became a "must see" when I first learned of it while researching locations for our trip. It was one of the first places added to a map of locations to visit for photography. Labeled "the oldest stone bridge in the highlands", whether true or not, it certainly was something to see and a little challenging to find just the right composition.

I was instantly reminded by a novel by Orhan Pamuk, Nobel laureate, when I uploaded this image...an enchanting mystery about the making of a book for the Sultan and the murder of one of the artists making the illustrations. All of the reasons for the form of Islamic art are woven into this wonderful tale
If this hazelnut looks like it made the water around it freeze instantly upon splashing in it, this probably has to do with the way I've set up my shot...
I had attached the tip of the fruit above a plastic cup half full with distilled water and put it in the freezer to get a nice transparent medium. As the surface was frozen, I added some more water to cover the whole. But I was too eager and had not waited long enough, so that it made the first layer melt enough to have the hazelnut sink...
To save the whole thing, I picked the hazelnut from the half frozen liquid and attached the fruit again from the tip. Alas, my repeated interventions created this chaotic effect... which turned out interesting beyond expectation!
Rachael Creek Falls Part II, 2...After I descended down beside the waterfall, I instantly sensed this had to be it...First encounter with Upper Rachael Creek Falls...Just a while earlier, I had been walking in the creek bed up above...What struck me instantly here was the seductively, serene setting...Deeply canopied and shaded by the rhododendron...~I thought to myself, this waterfall was actually more like a fountain than a waterfall. Rachael Creek very quietly and solemnly slid down the right side of the escarpment's stone face...The reflection pool beneath was actually quite deep for a creek this size, and quiet...As I continued to make my way down the side of the ridgeline toward the creek bed, I stepped over something very unusual that I certainly would have never expected to find here...You will see in the next photo...
I redid my face AGAIN! Imperia had a release for a shape I FEEL instantly for and tried to talk myself out of it, but my friend who was suppose to be my voice of reason told me to do it because they are limited releases, so I DID IT!!! I kept the face pretty much the same, only thing I made a big change was my body. I kept my body shape I am currently liking... The outfit I put together at the THE CRYPTID EVENT and other goodies from my "closet"..
