Fuji FP-3000B Instant Film

Our local General Practice Doctors Surgery has just become “Lion Health” and moved into new premises at the regenerated factory building of Foster, Rastrick and Company. This is where the Stourbridge Lion, the first railway locomotive to operate in the United States, was built in 1928.

The weather was not too good so I just took this one shot of the entrance. I will go back and get some more soon.

This Polaroid features a sliding switch that slides a small magnifying glass (plastic) in front of the lens and viewfinder that allows close focusing of 2-4 feet. Slide the magnifying glass out of the way and the focal length extends to 10 feet.

Test with EK-8, no filter

L/D dial turned 2/3 to darken.

Camera: Kodak EK8

Film: Fuji FI-800GT

Green tint from fluorescent lighting somewhat corrected in GIMP

FI-800GT photos are roughly the size of Spectra photos.

I like their proportions much better than the wide Instax format.

I'll try to shove my last shot into an Instax cartridge and see what happens..

I like the colour rendering.

I don't like the all black shiny backside that makes it impossible to write notes on it.

Fuji Instax Square SQ10

Manufactured 1969-72. Shut my first one in the car door breaking the front. Fortunately I'd bought a second and while messing with that I broke the back so I separated both cameras and married the working back and front together. Works fine. So much fun to use but a little unwieldy. Takes Fuji pack film that you can still get hold of and there's set if you're interested in the results.

Aww ♥

This photo was taken this weekend with my Instax Mini 8. Since I don't have a scanner it's a photo of a photo. I've tried to edited it as accurate to the original picture as possible. I'm very impressed with the quality of the Instax! The originals are much better than I manage to accomplish in editing.
