Space Mountain 1994
I am scanning a lot of old family photographs this week to archive them and came across some from a WDW trip in 1994. This one caught my attention because I don't remember this being outside Space Mountain - but I think it looks great. I am not sure why the photo was taken at such an angle though :)
These trip photos were all taken on instant cameras and there are a few other shots I will be posting soon of Horizons and the Magic Kingdom Parade.

Chain mail tool still life. Shot with the new generation Impossible Project monochrome 600 films and a Mint SLR670M camera. The emulsion was then lifted and transferred to water colour paper. The image was then scanned and tweaked in Pixelmator.

Fuji FP3000B Instant Film
Negative Scan
This photo is from my current ongoing "ScaryCanary Polaroid Portrait Project". ScaryCanary is the independent music venue and gallery that is very much at the centre of the local alternative music scene at. I play there myself on a regular basis and am using up some of my remaining stock of Fuji FP3000B on a series of portraits of people who work, exhibit, perform and "hang out" there.

Too cold for instant film, although I had the camera under my jacket most of the time and had the print developing in an inner pocket of my jacket..
Camera: Polaroid SX-70 Land Camera Alpha 1. Film: Impossible Project PX 100 Cool Silver Shade.
New close up lens for my Instax Mini 8! My instructions for the lens came in Chinese to I had to do it the old fashioned way - trial and error!
Ps. I now have a big review on my blog! Check it out if you're interested in knowing more about the Instax 8!

1. Slide the film type control to COLOR, or B&W.
2. Set your automatic electronic timer to COLOR or BLACK AND WHITE.
3. Set the lighten/darken control to NORMAL or as indicated on film pack.
4. For flash, turn flash switch to ON.
5. Press lever down until it latches and wait for ready light to blink.
6. Estimate distance in feet from camera to subject and set lens.
7. View subject through viewfinder and press release button slowly.
8. A. After taking picture pull out white tab and discard.
B. Then pull yellow tab straight out.
Nice old Polaroid, about to be transformed into a completely different item. (Don't worry, not befouling this classic for no reason... the shutter button is broken... doesn't work... so decided to up-cycle it). Cool thing is... the instructions come in a metal plate that slide into a holder on the back of the camera. Pretty slick!
