This is the "Polaroid Highlander" (Model 80b) camera. It is a folding, instant land camera introduced by Polaroid as part of the Hightlander series (1954-1961).
The Highlander was relatively compact compared to previous Polaroid land cameras and the Model 80b introduced a improved cutter mechanism for prints. The Hightlander would have originally used Type-30 instant rollfilm.
Won these at auction, but a freebie was thrown in to come to 6 old Polaroid cameras! My latest art project!

Polaroid Viva Expired July 2008
Everything was going really well with my pack of expired Viva up until this shot, after which everything jammed. I haven’t attempted to rescue the rest yet. That is a job for this weekend.

Interior detail from the old kitchen at Calke Abbey, Derbyshire, UK.
Calke Abbey is not an abbey by the way, it is a “stately home”. It was given over to the National Trust in 1985 on the condition that it was preserved in it’s then current stated of dilapidation and not restored.

Tenancy is nearly up at B Flat and so having to put stuff into boxes yet again and move home, only that space (home) gets smaller and smaller these days. Walls are caving in sometimes. In my madness of collecting cameras in my old place which I then use once and then cannot maintain using, it has led to being bogged down with much stuff, antiquities and more stuff. So I am getting rid of a few cameras. Amongst other things.
