Roidweek 2023 day 5
Not quite but it sure looks like one. 5367 just kept on ticking in fine SD40-2 fashion and spent the better part of 3 months in summer 2016 working the L-549/U-745 jobs between Gladstone and Partridge. In this case it's leading 2037 and train U-745 at Plains at 18:05 on September 2, 2016. Looks a lot like one I posted earlier at the same location. I couldn't get enough of this old girl.
A more whimsical and nostalgic look at the present day CLE skyline. What's new today is all too soon tomorrow's blight.

Toujours suspendu quand apparait au travers des nuages un bout de montagne comme en train de voler dans les volutes.
So many places to go. So many things to experience. If only we could be more like the water. Each little rivulet finds its way down a path, exploring from place to place. It may meet a choke point and mix with the rest, but then it spreads out and quests the edges of its reality once more. All the while, it's always moving, always en route to the next place. In the end, it always finds a way to get where it's going.

A moment captured at a café in one of Melbourne's laneways having breakfast. We chose a window seat so we could watch the world go by. A group of people stopped right in front of us and this lady saw me with the camera. I love this image as it represents a momentary, very pleasant connection with a stranger.
