Petit ours des pins en fin de chasse aux limaces et autres mollusques.
Que dire ! Plus de 2h passé allongé dans la prairie avec cette magnifique Martre des pins. De grands moments d'observations, avec plusieurs passages de l'animal à moins de 2 mètres de mon objectif, mettant ce dernier grandement en difficulté avec aucune mise au point possible. Résultat tous mes gros plans sont flous... Un tempérament très joueur, elle me tournait autour en cherchant à me charger un peu à la manière d'un brocard. M'ayant parfaitement identifié, j'avais vraiment l'impression de jouer avec mon chien tellement une relation de confiance s'est instaurée. Même observation, même conditions, même proximité le lendemain... Ces instants ne m'ont jamais laissé autant rêveur en perspective de prochaines photos animalières. A très vite ma petite martre ! 😍

Not far from where we were staying, I recorded this with little time to get there. Fortunately, I had scouted this place earlier in the day, just incase an opportunity were to arise. The clouds in the rest of the sky refused to play their part, and instead went from white to grey. However, remembering the power lines in this location, gave me an idea to use with this "Dragon's Tail" of light.
Lasting for what seemed no more than an instant, the light quickly faded. The silhouettes of both power lines and poles, served as major elements to the success of this shot, contrasting with the light. The dark greyish blue sky helped accentuate the bright streaking cloud, while the hill contributed as the ideal negative space.

I went to deinstall my prints at the Art Ark Gallery in San Jose, California. I noticed some blocks in the empty gallery, and rearranged them to create an instant art piece.
I processed a paintery and a photographic HDR photo from three JPG exposures, blended them selectively, carefully adjusted the color balance and curves, rotated the image 180º, and corrected the perspective. I welcome and appreciate constructive comments.
