I had the upstairs front offside seat for the ride from Marble Arch to Streatham and the bus was photographed quite a few times during the journey. Thanks to the internet I made contact with Martin Ruthe who took this excellent shot at Lambeth and kindly gave me permission to post it on Flickr. The fellow in the seat next to me had come over from Holland for the event.

Kristen got me some super fine impossible px100 push color film for my SX-70 so i broke out some flash lights to light my bottle of beer.

This still life was made with a Mamiya RB67 with a polaroid back loaded with Fuji FP-100B instant film. Keen observers may recognize the spheres from "Victorian Spheres", where they were shot from much closer with a DSLR. Exposure was 1 sec at f/11, ISO 100.

Iría a más lugares adonde nunca he ido,

comería más helados y menos habas,

tendría más problemas reales y menos imaginarios.

Yo fui una de esas personas que vivió sensata

y prolíficamente cada minuto de su vida;

un paraguas y un paracaídas;

si pudiera volver a vivir, viajaría más liviano.

Si pudiera volver a vivir

comenzaría a andar descalzo a principios

de la primavera

y seguiría descalzo hasta concluir el otoño.

Daría más vueltas en calesita,

contemplaría más amaneceres,

y jugaría con más niños,

si tuviera otra vez vida por delante.

Pero ya ven, tengo 85 años...

y sé que me estoy muriendo.

Ready-to-eat instant chocolate sponge. Batter dispensed with gourmet whip in paper cup and then microwaved. Cake served in black bowl with whipped cream and mint leaf garnish. Upend paper cup on tray. One cake still in bagasse cup. One emptied cake. High point of view.

A platform for conversation, Instant Space is a series of curtains designed by Zurich-based architects Nele Dechmann and Ortreport to host discussions, workshops, and interrogations. The curtains embody a maxim of flexibility and fluidity.

The images printed on the curtains present a juxtaposition of liminal environments: “in-between” spaces where political and social rules are typically suspended. The five prints have an unexpected element adding to the environment, which opens up a field of narratives and interpretations.

Instant Space exists alongside five keywords formed by Swiss designers Atlas through recombining fragments of foundational terms that raise questions and spark discussions.

The installation is an artistic response to the swissnex Salon, serving as a setting for different forms of interaction and exchange within the swissnex Gallery. The space creates a variety of atmospheric environments, from generous and open to intimate and immersive.

Just in case you'd need an instant headache.
