A street portrait of a street portraitist, artist who draws and instant portrait of a man in the street. Candid street photo.
No ho sabrà mai. El temps passa molt lentament i això li agrada.
Jaume Benavente - Història d'amor a Sarajevo (fragment)
The mirror chamber releasing its trademark loud noise bounces off the cobblestone laid alley hidden behind wrought bars. 1st take is always candid, each following shot is posed.

Bonjour Canada! Waving from the Northwestern corner of Washington State. PX-680 Color Protection Film on one of the most perfect abandoned beaches I've ever found.
Iría a más lugares adonde nunca he ido,
y prolíficamente cada minuto de su vida;

Paulo Coelho.
One Instant Film for Polaroid 100 Cameras. The loading and pulling procedure takes a bit of practice-hence the artifact, dyes and light leaks.

In a short moment, I saw this northern shrike swoop down on its prey, a short-tailed shrew that came to feed near a feeder, grab it, perch and then disappear.

When you own an old camera with no pre-capture, no 30, 60 or 120 fps, it's tough to capture the instant of takeoff with a quick tiny bird like a chickadee. I have to rely on anticipation and my reaction time, which in my case is akin to glacier speed. But I do the best I can with what I have.
My wife's siblings were here for dinner Sunday. Somebody said something funny and it created an instant.
